subtle shift

All five frequencies 4, 8, 12, 16 and 24 remain exactly the same throughout this 20 minute (repeated four times) "wave", all changes occur in their correlating levels.

We begin with a high conscious

100% 24Hz,

75% 16Hz,

50% 12Hz

etc...

and "peak" midpoint (10 minutes) with a reversal,

0% 24Hz,

25% 16 Hz,

30% 12Hz*,

75% 8Hz,

100% 4Hz,

From then (halfway until 20 minutes, the end or loop point) a regression takes place which brings all levels back to their original state. Something like an easy wave flowing from higher to lower consciousness and back again almost imperceptibly. Or better, a tide coming in going out.

I wanted a unified micro-rhythm "feel" about the whole preset so I began with a most pleasing and unified number: four. The number, One, is perhaps more singular (duh...) but I felt that four represented a togetherness as in bringing together the "four quarters" in the Jungian psychological sense. Whatever, from ther I simply expanded on this number getting, 8, 12, 16 and 24. Audible frequencies mirrored this from 80. This way, all the binaural frequencies compliment each other with the intent of creating a pleasing singular feeling.

Thats the theory anyway, in practice I tried not to expect too much but I must admit it was the most powerful preset I have yet listened to. This may have something to do with it being my own and because of me "loving" the Idea that a placeboic effect helped shunt the preset along. Which is why I want it in the public domain!!

Overall there is a simple white noise mask which begins at full volume, hopefully providing incentive to listen to this preset at a lower volume at which it works best, and dips slightly to a 60% level at the midpoint to provide a subtle focus on the 4Hz and 8Hz.

*I felt at this point the 12 Hz (The Gateway frequency) needed to step back slightly to give 8Hz and 4Hz the foreground over the higher frequencies, therefore 30% instead of 50% which would have been the logical progression.
