ok i would just like to clear everything up about these drug presets: THEY DON'T DO A DAMN THING. anything you think you felt is placebo. i tried every single one, and not a damn thing, except the poppers one gave me a headache after a few minutes. just stop trying, get the real thing if that's what you want to feel.

This thing was awesome. Don't do anything, huh? Well it sure got me high quickly. I reccomend this one. Not as good as your Jet one though.

i don't care if this is "just the placebo". i think it's great if I take sugar or whatever and get "there" too. also, your brain learns every drugeffect - you can recall it e.g by hypnosis....

Its possible it is a placebo. Ive told someone they were smoking pot/drinking alcahol and then it was tobacco/alcahol free wine. They were all mauled as if they were stoned/drunk and they didnt even know it was their own mind playing tricks on them

I don't know how the correct terminology but, how long do you listen to this once the tones stop fluctuating and it becomes one constant sound? THanks

Since many of the presets on this site need a willing participant, the "PLACEBO" effect will have alot to do with them, and is indeed the cornerstone of alot of meditation.

to anyone talking down about placebo's - everything you DO believe in is altered by the "placebo" effect. All drugs are tested against placebos (here in the USA anyway) and placebos often work better than the actual drugs. There is nothing wrong with placebos, in fact... you should feel good if a placebo works for you because that is the power of your own mind achieving your desired effect... you need nothing but your own mind and the belief that you can do it (or that something else does it for you). If you do believe in something a lot and it still doesn't have the desired effect, you likely have a lousy body/mind connection, you better stick to chemicals or practice some meditation/other things to enhance your awareness. Technically your own reality is just a shared placebo... it's all what your mind allows you to percieve as thought anyway... heavilly influenced by belief. The important part is that you achieve the result, is it not? Placebo or not, if you get it working... good for you. If not, do something else... chances are you were skeptical or wanted to disprove it.. so choose something that you believe in and then it'll work for you :P But many people speak as if a placebo is something only stupid people experience or as if it is a bad thing... A placebo doesn't work because someone is DEcieved.. its because someone BElieves... so naturally the intelligent thing to do is to choose to believe in something you like for the effect you desire... if you are capable.

This preset WORKED! My roommate and I each listened to this on our own computers simultaneiously with headphones. After the 10 minutes, we were feelin really good! My roommate describes after the 8 minute mark feeling like a roller coaster. To those you say it's a placebo effect, or it doesn't work, try it again and really concentrate on the sound (also very important you use HEADPHONES so that your left ear picks up the left frequency and right ear the right frequency). Towards teh end of this preset, I felt a very strong waves of pleasant rushes. Well done! Also we've each been drinking, not sure in what manner this contributes.

Ok so i was listening to your set early one evening, and well to be honest it just made me sleepy and before long i realized that i had sort of spaced out and 44 mins had gone by (i made it an hour when i sent it to a .wav) anyway so i was planning on using a lucid dreaming preset but fell asleep to fast. Well at first i was dreaming about my dad criticizing me saying i wasnt getting enough rem sleep, but sort of forgot about this and started waking up every so often for some reason to record in a book the things i was dreaming about. Well i heard my dad coming up the stairs so sense i didnt want him to know that i was continuing this experimentation i pretended to go backk to sleep. the thing is thought when he woke me up i realized i had been asleep the entire time, no book or pen/pencil or nuthin beside me, i lucid dreamt it all, and knew my dad was coming up stairs to check on me so sort of laid back down, but what im curious about is wether this was a lucid dream or oobe or both?
