It could have a use in that if you know how to cause something (or how it happens), you are one step towards curing it, so perhaps there is a way to take these frequencies and entrain the brain AWAY from these frequencies using ramping. In this way, you MAY be able to remove the sensation of pain without any painkillers whatsoever. Never assume that something has no practical use or purpose.

I guess you could hit yourself with a hammer, but you'd probably be too scared to actually hit yourself really hard. You'd also have to hit yourself in the mouth if you want the dental pain and you'd have to hit yourself everywhere else if you want the muscle pain. I was thinking about this before..there was a frequency that said 'assosiated with genitals'. If I started at that frequency and then moved to 'muscle pain', couldn't that have some SCARY effects??

I tried it for 15 minutes with no effect.

I found that it only works if I crank the volume up really high (i.e. *much* louder than normal for using bwgen). At that level it works pretty well - causes pain throughout the head. Of course, at that volume level, even listening to Enya would give me a headache... :-)

well.... i can see how in a lab this could be a useful experiment. but.... why would you want to generate pain? and even if you do, go buy a pin!

you dont have to go through all that trouble to receive pain, why dont you just borrown your little sisters NSYNC cd turn it up to full volume and listen to it while trying to sleep.

i tried it at a normal volume level- the same I use to play my music (usually I play bwgen much lower than 'normal' volume) and it caused me to get dizzy. Couldn't stand it, it wasn't even good pain. Gives me a swirling, dull headache.

I tend to agree with the "hit youself over the head with a hammer" aproach to pain. this preset gives you a headache if u turn it up loud of course it does (DUH). for all round body pain i recommend a large injection of hydrochloric acid directly into the spine.

I tend to think that a good way to generate a little to alot of pain is to got for jalapenos for mild pain levels and habaneros or, as its also known, scotch bonnets. Jalapenos can go from "nothing-there mild" to hot. (and I have NEVER had a hot chipotle anything...its another "nothing-there mild") Habaneros start at scraping out your mouth cursing, eyes watering, and uncontrolled hick-ups and just keeps going up. But it has been noted that more and more people every day are eating hot foods for the pain that ensues. Just something to think about next time you go to order something...
