Each section has its own unique feature. If you want to extend the length of sleep, change the # of repeats in section C.

This preset works by far better than any sleep cd available commercially. I have a chronic insomnia problem and generally can't fall asleep or stay asleep. However, I've used this preset twice and both times I was asleep before the end of Section A, while still sleeping through Section B and into Section C. If this works for me, it should work for anyone. Thanks k4o.

Hi....I just discovered these sounds a few days ago after purchasing the Miracle 6. They gave a link to this site. This is so KOOL !! I will definately try it. I'm sorry to say, but as i'm older i don't know how to use an "ipod" or down load the sounds to something else. I'm gonna use an old fashioned tape recorder next to the computers speakers, plug in ear phones to THAT and then listen. Will that work? Maybe later i can buy a cheap ipod so i can download sounds. I have an AWFUL time sleeping these past 2 yrs. It takes me forever to fall asleep and then i keep waking up every two hours! I have tried everything to get to sleep, beer, benedril, melatonin, etc. Helps a bit, but not much. I will definately try the sounds out and give it a week or so like the other people said........ |

Sorry to say man, but recording onto tape won't work, it will only be in mono. you can put it on a cd and listen to it on a diskman? Much cheaper than an ipod

Yeah just get some headphones that clip on your ears (so they stay on) and burn it on a cd. Thats how I do it since I think ipods are stupid and too expensive. Using a tape recorder wont give the binural effect you need. its good to see this board is still active in 2006 :) |

Burning it onto a CD would of course work, except the duration of this preset is 7 hours and 45 minutes. But, I guess the beginning 80 minutes or so of this preset should be enough to give the listener an excellent sleeping experience. Great job, k4o. :) Your preset is great.

Just get a portable cd player that can play mp3's.. There are many forums and things that will assist you in making an mp3 from a preset. |

2 eyab Just buy headphones with long hardwire (or buy aux. jack hardwire for it). I don't recommend mp3 compression for bin.beats, mostly because most people never take control of compression properties and use some stereo field compression trciks bt default. |

If your player supports it, use OGG compression instead of MP3. I use OGG compression because it retains a lot more of the frequencies and gives you a truer compressed version than mp3 does. If your player supports it, you could also use FLAC, which is LOSSLESS - which means its the same as when you hear the wav file. |

Aaaargh, these spam messages are irritating the hell out of me! Are there no admins around who can do something about this? IF YOU ARE USING PHP TO RUN THIS COMMENT-SYSTEM: Contact me, I have a little anti-bot system that will cure this site with no effort at all. To get to topic, I will try this preset as soon as possible (tomorrow, hopefully). But for tonight, I'm heading for Lucid Dreaming again ;) |
