Lucid Dreaming Preset v 1.0 - T.H.E Development Project

Experiment 2 : T.H.E Development Project (Tekno Human Engineering)

Basically this preset is used to induce a lucid dream and its based upon the 5 stages of sleep

Stages 1 - 4 are NREM (non-rem) & stage 5 is REM sleep

Total length = 495 minutes (8 hours 15 minutes)

Experimental - May or may not work

I don't know how often I sleep for a full 8 and a quarter hours, or how often REM sleep happens at the last part (assuming that's what happens from the preset, but I don't know from the description). Can you elaborate on the preset at all, or your own successes/failures?

I may try it on the weekend when I sleep in and such.

I acheived lucidity via reading about it for a few weeks in a row. It just happened and was very cool. It needs to be something you have on your mind a lot.

I did get lucid quite often with LD TEST preset...try it..

if you want to lucid dream, heres the recipe... first get a note pad and as soon as you wake up stay absolutely still for a minute (moving around breaks to link to dreams) and try to pick out a few things from your dreams, then write down as much as you can, do this for about 2 weeks every night (p.s. if you wake up in the missle of the night, do it then aswell) the most recurring objects are known as "trigger objects" something that is likely to appear in your dream, now heres the tricky part, you have to get your brain to remember that such and such means your dreaming, when you see it in a dream your gonna think to yourself, hey wait a minute, there are no pink elephants in real life.... i must be dreaming.

a warning try the jump test before you do anything crazy, this is where you go, "up up and away" and jump like superman on the away, if you fly... then duh... your dreamin, if not. YOUR NOT, dont screw up your life tellin peeps what you think only to realise that it isnt a dream. (if you dont fly, just make up a joke about it, or to avoid embarrasment, go somewhere private) please dont jump out of windows, just do it in open area, cuz if ya jump outta window and your not dreaming then...... roadkill :)

anyway, thats todays lesson on lucid dreaming.
btw, dont waste your dream cycles, REM state only lasts 40mins tops, so make the most of it (of course time might go by quickly, but it might not) so dont waste time,

one and a half hours not rem, 40 mins rem, lather rinse repeat for 8 hours = one nights sleep.

Another idea to the topic above. Because dreams occur more often in REM sleep, it is a good idea to wake up a couple of hours earlier than you normally would. So say you go to bed at 10pm and get up at 8am, then set your alarm for 6am, when you wake up, think about Lucid dreaming or read about it. If you can remember a dream from when you wake up at this time, then write as much of it as you can remember down on a notepad. Stay awake for about 20 mins, then go back to sleep. Set you r alarm for about 10am, this gives you plenty of time to have lucid dreams. When you wake up, do nothing else, but write your dream down right away as you'll lose memory of it later.

just want to warn you people about these "dream" inducers: go ahead and use them if you wish but you may be sorry as I was when I tried one of them, they cause this really really nasty form of insomnia where you are deathly tired and keep thinking you're about to dose off and then you get this hard to describe tingly feeling in your head and so much for that. I ended up staying awake almost a whole night because of one of these! Just a warning, apparently some people claim it DOES work so this could just be a problem for me, anyway, I felt it was proper to warn you who may be anxious to try this (as I was), it may really destroy your night. AND THE EFFECTS DIDN'T WEAR OFF FOR A LONG TIME for me so it was like torture!

"kind advice" I presume you're the same guy who posted on my preset. Perhaps
you have an insomnia problem, or you're worried on the use bwgen. Anxious is the wrong word in any case. Perhaps you have been drinking too much coffee? That can cause insomnia too.

My advice is to try mint tea - it is good for dream recall etc.
And yes, if you suffer from epilepsy or other conditions, it's best you check with a doctor before you go on using bwgen.
If you don't get benefits from presets, don't use them then. It's not as one is forced to use them. I use them myself. I've never suffered insomnia from using them myself.

Are you afraid of Punk music also?
Maybe that is bad for you aswell.
Maybe we should not listen to anything.
BAN music, its bad for our brain.
----------

We should trust the doctors and let them give us pills to make us better.
yahh yahh, because they know better than us all.
Maybe we should walk around and warn people about new kinds of ways to heal ourselves, because its the work of the DEVIL..
*the above was a joke*

I dont care if you are a kind person, you still deserves some critical answers to your statements, so do i.

Its people like you who makes everyone else afraid of new things and never wants to do stuff on their own and see more and new ways to life.

btw, just so you know!
Most people in here dont give a s*** about your warnings.

Knowledge replace fear.. maybe you should study more about this and stop disinform people around you.

I got a better idea after looking at so and so's idear. Someone should remod this preset ...

1 1/2 hours delta....like 4..possibly 3hz

then 40 minutes of alpha (9 - 12 possibly even 13hz)

then back to 1 1/2 hours of delta....

one and a half hours not rem, 40 mins rem, lather rinse repeat for 8 hours = one nights sleep.

If you get to worn out from this combo, i.e. feeling like crap in the morning try this instead

1 1/2 hours delta....like 4..possibly 3hz (but this time after like 45 minutes of the sound, cut the volume intensity to zero...to avoid over stimulation)

then 40 minutes of alpha (9 - 12 possibly even 13hz)

then back to 1 1/2 hours delta....like 4..possibly 3hz (but this time after like 45 minutes of the sound, cut the volume intensity to zero...to avoid over stimulation)

I tried this last night and a similar effect someone had in a previous description.

I tried it from 1am till well its just after 9am, strange effects i know i got some sleep however i felt as if i was listening to this all night without sleep, i do feel a bit rested and around 8am i noticed the sound changed which was kinda refreshing i felt good, i suppose maybe it did ok as im not too tired but i still feel i could turn this off and try another hour till 10.

These dream ones dont usually work for me & i usually sleep when tired so no back effects.

Hello I have just stumbled across Lucid dreaming recently and have been reading a bit about it. But I was wondering...once you get the abilty to control your dreams, can you make anything appear in front of you? when you talk to people, do they think for them selves or do you have to think about what they are going to say like a movie script? Any information on this would be great. Thank you.

SDninja, read a bit more - all the answers to your quesions are out there in the books and on the web. Basically, everything you see is your mind's creation. Unless you meet other dreamers or "creatures" that are independant. But normally all the people are created by your own mind. They are even clled "sprites" - like in computer games. Of course you don't have to think for them in order to make them speak - your brain is capable of autonomeous activity without you even not being aware of it controlling a bunch of sprites. Happy dreamin'!

Everything is possible in your dreams, it is your world, your inmagination, which you can controll.
But you have to believe you can, ive you just try without believing in yourself it wont work.
I can create things, make things float, i can fly, throw ki around.., make fun with girls, shapeshifting, walk through walls..

Just believe in yourself ;)

This is regarding to the post by "kind advice". I can fully understand and empathize with what he's saying. It was a patternistic cycle of fear. Now, understand, I'm not saying he was consciously "afraid" of anything.

What happens is, the "tingly feeling" is what comes with the initial phase of astral projection (or dreaming). It's one of the initiating stages. If you try to remain conscious and actively monitor how you feel, etc., you will notice the tingle, where if you weren't expecting something, you would be too far gone to notice it.

As this particular preset (and others involving astral projection/sleep) make your mind lower to the sleep stages, it can seriously cause some discomfort if you're still sitting there conscious! And the memory of that event stays with you, along with the fear that it will not "wear off." So you remain in the state of uncomfortable waiting; only this time you're waiting for the "effects" to wear off. Thereby keeping your mind in that half-sleep state of conscious worry.

What's the lesson here? Stay relaxed!! As it is with all things, nothing can harm you unless you allow it to. If you are a negative minded person, then allow me to add my voice to kind's in warning of the potential..

But for most, this is definitely nothing to worry about, as you would have to be _very_ negative and fearful to acheive this.

I've been there, and it sucks! But I sure learned to be a much happier person after getting over it. :)

I just decided to post this because I saw how nasty some of the comments were to this guy, when all he was trying to do was warn people. Let's try to understand before we fire off insults, shall we?

hi, we were trying this out after testing the 'brown noise' sites for a laugh and coming across the generator. we tried this last night. not sure my comments are valid, but i got nothing after listening to it for an age. i was looking at a sequence of visuals too. today i slept in 6 hours over the norm, amd when i woke was groggy. i also thought i was back living where i left 6 years ago when i first woke up, for about 10 mins. also felt a bit hungover even though i hadn't had a drop since last week. when i finally woke properly i felt great and have felt no stress, even though i do normally as a matter of course. i'm wondering if i just wanted it to work, or has anyone else had a similar experience? hadn't come across stuff like this before so thought we'd give it a try. it definitely had some effect in changing the norm. i'll try some more and let you know, if anyone is interested.
by the way, it had little effect on my friend, if any...

lucid dreaming is not all it is cracked up to be.

i say this because i still feel detached in a way, like i'm still controlling it in the third person.

15-Jul-2005, GiveMyBrainBackNow!
I feel like that most of the time, and I just discovered the BWG tonight.

I can and have always been able to flip back and forth between first and third person in most situations.

I just tried this BWG file and it gave me a lucid dream the first night. I also felt pretty good during the day.

one problem was that I couln't send it out to a wave file because it was too big so I can only loop 140 min. of it.

worth a try - keep up the good work.

BTW there is no group on Yahoo for this Project.

When listening to these presets, is it necessary to keep your eyes closed, or can you keep them open and if so, can you walk around the house while listening to them?
