Hey guys can any1 tell me if it is normal i got scared like hell?? Because it stoped to be funny anymore.. and i'm not joking!!! After few secs i thought i could handle it but it was too strong and i jumped off da bed shaking like santa's belly :P I can give a little advice.. everything started to happen after i got totally relaxed.. don't think on anything just let it flow ( it also helped me not to try to focus thru my eyelids.. just keep every part of the body relaxed and after that you will stop feeling it, no face no arms no legs.. ) ... the preset is a killer.. sorry about the posts but i can't help it... still shaking scared and freakin excited :-D |

I'm trying it tomorrow morning if it works better than the deep meditation 2 built in preset than I'll kiss your feet in the astral, if I can find you. Cheers (dont worry, I was kidding about the astral sexual harassment bit). |

Hmm... well I don't really know much about astral projection/oob, but thought I'd try this. Just finished trying and unfortunately no experience. I did try twice, the first time I kind of "vanished" a number of times, kind of falling asleep but not. Everytime this happened my heart begun beating real hard and I became concious again. I kept seeing short dreamlike pictures created by my imagination from time to time in the end, almost like falling asleep and dreaming shortly, but more concious. I remember my right leg shaking/jumping at one point, not sure if that was a good sign that I was close, or just my leg getting tired of resting ;) My comprehension of time was quite terrible, assumed it's been about 30 mins when I stopped, though it had actually been 1h and 7 mins. Only about 2-3 mins later I tried it again, this time with increased volume, thinking the volume the first time was very quiet. Only lasted about 20 mins this time, and then my body got restless and just couldn't stay still any more. Been about 15 mins since I got up, and my heart is still pounding hard, not sure why though... Didn't get "scared" as some of the other posters described. Although those posts got me entisipating to "get" scared whenever I started to "vanish", which might have been a reason my heart began pouinding and missing it... Will probably try again tomorrow... The largest distraction was my heart, I could hear and feel it thoughout the entire time, and was really distracting... Perhaps tomorrow it will have calmed down... ;) |

since i'm not good in waiting i coudln't help trying it again. Well it was almost the same .. the same freakin strong heart pounding but this time i told myself i'll handle it.. i tried to slow the pounding and it worked.. but nothing happened... maybe that damn pounding is the way to get out of body or even maybe get killed ( i have a little heart problem ) :P After that slowing i remained in the same position and i could feel a very weird sensation in my arms and legs.. they started to move by themselves... it was kinda nice.. but then my bro got into the room so i had to stop :P well there's something fishy about this preset ;) gonna try it again tommorow but this time i'll increase the volume in the preset :P |

Nice to see such a lot of feedback on this preset!! =) Now, there is one thing that i forgot to do before i uploaded the preset!!! To all of you: Open the preset options for this preset and uncheck the "Continue after the end of all segments" box!!! This is important, because it is not supposed to continue after 20 minutes. When the preset stops after 20 minutes that's when the REAL effect kicks in. It will act like a catapult for your astral body, almost snatching you out in the astral, very efficient! First time i ever tried it i felt strong vibrations. But i got a little scared, because i saw "shadows" or "beings" in front of me that were reaching and grabbing for me but they couldn't reach me... |
| 07-Jan-2004, Patrik |
|
Tried it again, probably spent an hour, got really relaxed, and even though I didn't reach the as far as the first time, I still almost "vanished" a couple of times... Might just be me almost falling asleep though... I have since my first post been reading up, and probably read 30-50 or so pages about astral projection. And now I know what the vibrations is all about... I can't seem to get them though... Could anyone who got them tell me what you did/did not do to get them? I did get different parts of the body to "jump" including the entire body "jumping" heavily at one point. But I doubt these are the entry-point vibrations, and more likely muscle "spasms" or whatever for almost falling asleep and then "awaking", or something... Also from reading up on this, I keep seeing instructions to "focus on the third eye". I am not sure how to do this... Should I pretend my "inner eyes" to focus between my eyebrows where this supposedly exists? Or what? I tried that and was only distracting... Also on a side-note... The sound is really low on this preset as default... Anyone getting these vibrations got them when having the sound low? Or did it work better when increasing the volume? I have only known about the meaning of astral projection for less than a day. But this is basically what I have always wishes was possible, ability to walk around in an "artificial" world, still seeming real, dreamt of technology like this being invented in the future, like something out of StarTrek ;) *lol*. I am the kind of person that basically never gives up, and assuming this is possible (which it seems to be) I can spend years if that is what it takes. I AM going to succeed on this! |

A little tip for all you Astral projectioners... =) I'm not at all very experienced in the subject, but it's when i try the hardest to project, that's when it works the least... and when i've tried so many times that i've decided not to try for a while.. then i come closer to projecting than i've ever been, while just trying to get some ordinary sleep! So... keep trying!! Try so many times that you almost get sick of it... and no longer get scared of your body reactions, and you will see that all your hard work WILL pay off! =) Remember... it's all about practise and learning!! LOTS of practise! And nothing can harm you in the astral... it's all mental, so there's nothing to be afraid of... =) |

Well for me it was a failure but I will take your advice Dofto. I connected my headphones to my computer but it's weird, I just found out the headphones doesn't produce every sound. I couldn't hear the vibration sound. I was playing music and some voices and sounds were blocked during the song. Anyways, I burned your present to a CD and am using a cd player. I've listened to it twice with no results. But that was when going to sleep. I think maybe I will try in the morning but I'm interested in projecting during the night. What about this certain sleep pattern where you sleep 6 hours, stay up a while, then go back to bed? That would probably help, right? One of the many times I've done it, I projected once for about 3 seconds but fell back I think because i was excited and didn't go anywhere. I just have to adjust my sleep to 8 or 9 PM instead of 1 or 2 AM, lol (Im on winter break from college). Well I'll keep trying and let ya know what happens. bye

I forgot to mention that the preset does try to relax my body. I guess I haven't been awake for the effects to take place where my body relaxes totally where I feel nothing. Ok well I'm gonna use it again tonight and whenever else. Bye

Tried it again, not sure if what I experienced was the vibrations. But after a while of listening I started getting weird feelings in my chest and arms (read that the vibrations usually start at the chest...). My eyes started moving real fast, which was quite annoying. And I felt my body wanting to go "up". Unfortunately when this happened my muscles got tensioned and I kept expecting my physical "body" to float up with my mind... And then it was over... When my body get to this really relaxed state I for some reason keep holding my breath. which also causes me to have to relax all over again... Really annoying... This time I tried the technique to "climb" a rope. Though when I try to visualize something my mind keeps playing tricks on me... For example I visualize myself climbing a rope, and then the rope keeps falling down!! I visualize the rope to get "stuck" in some place long, long up in the sky, but as soon as I start "climbing" the thingie holding the rope breaks! LOL... though not funny when it happens, this does probably sound amusing now... When I instead try to see myself floating out of my aprtment and up in the sky, the sky ends and I am past earth within seconds... ;) But most annoying was the rope falling down all the time... or kept seeing myself not having the physical stength to pull myself up... The short amount of time I actually managed keep rising, was when this tension in my breast and the eyemovements happened... |

Seem to post a lot, might be annoying, I don't know, but anyway... You get closer and closer, manages to more and more silence the heart, and then you stumble on something like this: http://www.voy.com/105359/200.html Have read other posters on other sites also describing "evil entities"... How is reading stuff like this going to calm you down enough to actually succeeding in astral projection? LOL This actually got me a little worried... I know it's probably nothing to worry about. But since I am yet to experience this, you start imagining seeing something like this in the physical world, and then knowing it could be "real" in the astral is scary... ;) |

My headphones aren't the problem. I forgot to say that they didn't work fully when hooked to my computer, its either the sound card or the extension wire I use. Anyways, I used the preset last night on my CD player with headphones. It was really late, like 2 AM cause I never went to bed yet. But I kept my eyes open for the whole 20 minutes. My body kept relaxing and after the 20 minutes, i think it was trying to get in a really relaxed state. I'm not sure what happened after. I think I fell alseep a little after those 20 minutes. I had an AP once about a year ago. I managed to sleep like 6 hours and got up with an alarm. I stayed up for a long time and then went back to bed. I fell asleep but my mind was awake. It was like I awoke but only my mind did. My body was really light. My hands felt like they could go through the bed. And then I think I reached a point where I felt nothing, not sure. But then the vibrations came on. But they felt really nice, it was kind of comfortable for me and I liked it. I was able to accept them coming on. Then after a little, my astral body came right out and I was hovering over my real body with my astral back to my frontal real body so I never saw my body. I was staring at this poster on my wall that was out of place. After about 3 seconds, I fell back in because I just stayed there. All I did was look at the poster and so because I was too near my body, I fell in. What I've been trying to do is achieve an AP with one of these presets. So far no luck although sometimes it almost started to work when I did that certain sleep patter, I think its called WILD. Any advice would greatly be appreciated. What I need to do is sleep 6 hours, get up for over an hour and do stuff like use the treadmill to make me awake. Then I need to go back to bed listening to this preset and maybe it will induce me into that awakened mind only state and give me an AP. I believe in people having personal angels and one way of meeting them is through meditation but also you can through an AP. That's one of the reasons I want to AP so badly but I don't want to have to practice all the time, visualize, etc, just listen and AP, :D Sorry if this was too long, lol. |

Bullshit! I don't belive in god or angels! I think that everithing is happening are only in our brains. BWGen is just a tool that help us to induce some state of consciousness that are innaccessible in our everydays life. So, I think that an AP is just one of this innaccessible states. For me is very interisting how we can obtain this kind of states. Hedgehog |

Hedghog, I can't say I am really a beleiver as well... Though I of course, hope there is "something" out there... But it is actually quite fascinated if you start studying up on astral projection, reading everything you find, and more... You will notice a weird thing... Regardless of the religion of the description of peoples experience of the astral, they all describe these "beings" and the negative beings about the same... They describe them doing about the same thing etc. Regardless if the person who entered the astral is a christian, new wave, have no relgion, think the astral is a 5th dimension etc... Another interesting thing is that the astral world, except from few material things, seems about the same regardless who describes it... E.g. if it was all in the mind, how come it is always a "copy" of the physical world? Why isn't it more like a dream, with magical places etc. Might be some scientific explaination to this, like the brain trying to make it "real" based on that persons experiences etc... But still something worth thinking about... Quite interesting... It might all be in the mind... But I do not think one should just shout out "bullshit", especially when not having experinced it... It is always a good idea having an open mind... It might be all in the head, it might be another dimension/plane, regardless astral projection is an interesting subject and still worth achieving... |

i tried some of it but left to go to school since i sated up late the night before i tried to go to sleep in a class (math) when i closed my eyes i diddnt astral project but saw these images moving around looked like buildings or something. it diddnt look like i was looking at an actual buiding but it did look like i saw something. Im sure if i actually fell asleep i would of projected

zap, The whole concept of getting to the astral world is NOT to fall asleep... If you fall asleep you fail... You need to stay awake while your body falls asleep, that is the tricky part... Unless of course you enter a lucid dream and from that "breaks free" into the astral world... but that is of course another story... Hmm... I just can't seem to make me leave this comment board... lol ;) |

Patrik <- I've read about these Astral horror stories too, just when i began to experience fear while trying to project i stumbled across this story: http://w1.511.telia.com/~u51104349/Iona/Blandat/konfrontation.htm (It's in Swedish) When read this i got really scared and didn't even try to project for a couple of weeks! Instead i started to study the subject and other people's reactions to these stories all over internet, and i found that almost every comment were that these evil "entities" or "astral demons" were only self induced! ...a mind trick. The fear itself created these images. And i've read that if you see these things, you should ask them who they are, why they are there and ask them to leave... they will most often reply with an answer you won't expect. Remember that they can't kill or hurt you, because your astral body is not physical. You can not be harmed! (physically) However some people say that you could get so scared by what you see in the Astral that you will suffer psychic disease, but as far as i know it is only due to how you feel about yourself at the moment. If you are depressed, sad, not at peace with yourself or are imagining that there are demons and such... you should probably not try projecting until you learn to handle these things. Be positive and try to live a life in harmony, and know this: There is NO way that you can get stuck in the Astral or your body to be possessed by demons. Please, read these FAQ about Astral Projection: http://www.mach1audio.com/out-of-body/techniques/qa.htm |

Dofto, I have read the same thing, over and over again. Of course if they could hurt you physically I wouldn't even try it. But the fact that fear creates them and is mental isn't very comforting... I never have bad dreams, though I don't often have dreams either for that matter, so one would think I should not get them in the astral either. But the sub-conscious is a scary thing, worrying that just having read these things will cause my sub-conscious to create them after a successful projection. It might not be as bad as one think when actually experiencing it... But when you haven't experienced it the first time, you start thinking of it in the way of waking up in the morning seeing a very real demon in front of your face... Still would not want to miss out on a really fantastic experience just because you are too scared to even try... Just a side-note though... Most sources I have read seem to agree that there are two kinds of dark "entities" in the astral. One that is based on your sub-concious (the egos), only being a part of your imagination... The other is dark entities that actually live there, (just as the good guys, the light beings...). And that these indeed are "real", and are described about the same by most people who have met them... Though none of these are supposed to be able to hurt you physically... Of course, then the question is if you actually believe this, that the astral is another plane of existence, or if it is simply all in your mind... Most people who has succeeded afterwards start believing in this as a 5th dimension it seems, where you go to after death, and is another plane of existence. And assumably you go there every night when you sleep, you just don't know it... That is why when you want to project you have to keep focused on something, so that your body falls asleep but not the mind, so you are aware of it... I am not sure what to believe, since I haven't experienced it myself... But I believe in having an open mind... Sorry for all the rambeling... but anyway, it's an interesting subject. Too bad it has to be so bloody scary the first time... lol ;) |

There is NO way that you can get stuck in the Astral or your body to be possessed by demons.... ok...the second part...well...u may f with that...there are spirits that they don't like how it's there...so THEY WANT A BODY!!!...BUU no really...it's posible...a book that i've just read(???),the writer worns about this thing...and he knew a guy that was left without a body for an year, he got it back...after an year, standing write next to his body...lol...not good...no...this is not a story to scare ppl... well i know abou holosync...but no money...????....:(((((((( |

unknown, I think you missed the point... I never said you could get stuck there, you can't... I also didn't say you could get posessed by demons, or that they are dangerous, they aren't... Only thing they can do is scare you... But just because something is harmless physically, doesn't mean they don't exist... The whole point was that the astral being another plane of existence, where you go after death, a 5th dimension if you will, and that astral projection is the gateway to that... The creatues there are basically the light beings, the negative entities and the parasites... The goodies and the badies ;) Might be the dead people as well, but not sure about that... From what I have read they might usually have a higher "vibration" and unless asked to see them you don't, or something like that... But again, then there is the question if you actually believe this, or if it simply a part of our own mind we are yet to understand... I guess everyone has to decide for themselves once experienced it... I just find it interesting that most people who have succeeded a clear projection, even though they don't believe before, they do after that this indeed is real... To me it often sounds "too good" to be true at times... We'll just have to experience it and see for our selves... And about the guy you mentioned... most likely not true... They can't posess your body, you are more likely having trouble staying in the astral rather than returning... There are countless of people having entered the astral, and all of them except a single person claiming to have experienced something "unusual"... What does that say? Probably that he is lying... Or that there is something really different and strange about him... Just as we have heard scary stories about people having nightmares and waking up with the physical wounds experienced in the dream... There are bound to be scary stories about the astral... The question is, are those few experiencing this being "luckily?" picked out from millions/billions of people? Or are they simply lying? Who knows... |

Hello... i'm drunk right now, i am going to a party... so this might be embarrasing... well.. =) I really love this discussions! ... i've read your posted comments, and i'd like to say that i share the same belief as Patrik does. These "beeings" can only scare you... nothing more. However, i believe you could get REALLY scared... depending on your pshysical mental state at the moment. I hope you guys did read the FAQ link i posted on the last comment! There is even a guide there that will help you think positive when you are scared... to think secure thoughts. dh, Well if you don't return to your body you would basically be in a coma or dead, which is something that doesn't happen for no reason... There is always a medical reason for such things. I can't say I do believe in magic, but even if I did every religion and belief system has their own thoughts about out of body experiencing... The basics are about the same, but then reason and belief of "why" differs. In one religion the light beings are angels, in another religion they are something completely else... But they always seem be look about the same in the astral though, regardless who experiences it. I have read about the possibility of getting "posessed"... However that is from summonings and things like that, and not from astral projection. Assuming you believe in things like this, from what I have read the light beings all stick very firmly to the divine rules, which does not alow them to become present in a summoning and similar. So according from what I have read, because of this, all summonings and callings for spirits to show their presence etc in the physical, are in fact negative entities, most likely giving false information... Astral projection is actually quite common, and indeed a lot of people do come across negative entities, trying to scare you etc. And even though they might succeed, they do not have the power or ability to give you any physical harm. As mentioned, there are countless of people having experienced astral projection, but only a few claiming physical harm. There are also tons of people claming to be the reincarnation of Jesus, does that mean they are? Probably not... I say there is probably more danger in walking across the street than going astral projecting... 99,99% of all the people I have read who has experienced astral travel has found it a very positive thing, even when having encountered negative beings... I also think that if you have anything to fear, it is your own subconscius and your own thoughts... For example if you enter the astral, and know you have a fobia like being afraid of snakes... Because you know you have this fobia, you might start thinking of snakes in the astral, and yes, they will within a fraction of a second appear... According to everything I have read and statements from people succeeding... Anything you think will become reality... It is not like a dream where you can create your own landscapes, the world in itself don't really change. But if you think "demon", then you will actually see a demon. I read about someone happy for succeeding the first time... He entered the astral, was fascinated in how real it all was. Then he for some reason started tinking of a cat, and imidiately he had an angry cat clotching on his face... LOL However most experiences seem very pleasant, so the question is if you are going to let fear ruin what might be one of the best experiences in your life. You could travel the universe, visit distans countries etc, and all seeming very real. According to readings, if you are aware enough you can also visit sacred temples on the higher astral plane, being taught about life and death and the meaning of our existence etc... (though again, this is something a lot of people claim... If you want to believe it is up to you...) Man this was a lot of text, sorry about that... If you all want me to shut up in the future, just let me know... ;) I am just very fascinated about everything I have read... Basically spent all my awakened time this last week reading up on everything I can find on this subject... Including LOTS of posts from people in forums dedicated to astral travel... It is very interesting... |

dh, Another quick thought though, you seem to view the astral as "most"? people do, that is another plane of existence. Then you should also agree with the general understanding that the astral is the place you go upon sleep. And that is why the method to enter the astral plane is to stay concious while the body falls asleep. Having read some experiences of other's when visiting the astral plane, one interesting thing is that when they visit places, not only can they meet concious and awake beings/people, but also see people laying and sitting down not moving, or only moving very little... Most probably being humans beings asleep, have entered the astral but not aware of it, so they just lay there... Then wouldn't you also be afraid of falling asleep? Shouldn't there be as "dangerous" and likely to get "posessed" when entering the astral during sleep, as when entering while concious? Just a thought... |
| 10-Jan-2004, Patrik |
|
dh, The hard part is not to relax, but to focus on one task, and one task only for an extended period... Either you do one of the many practises available for projection, or make sure you think about one thing, and one thing only... Start doing this when relaxed, and for no reason what so ever get your mind to wander of... This is REALLY hard, and I have not been able to do it yet... But when you have focused your mind, after a while the vibrations will appear, if you then continue to focus, without starting to think about the separation or the vibrations etc, you should start to leave your body... The people who have experienced the vibrations on this board, has most likely gotten very relaxed thanks to the preset... And managed (probably without knowing it) to focus only on the sound, not getting their mind to wander of for a while, and that is why they started to feel the vibrations... And probably why people here seem to have a hard time repeating it... They simply start waiting for the vibrations the next time, instead of just relaxing and thinking about the sound... And that is why they do not appear... As mentioned, it is REALLY hard... From reading about people who has succeeding it... For most people it has taken at least 30 days to succeed... |

ok everybody... you shouldnt try to AP until you know youre not scared of anything. cos then whats the point of trying if youre gonna end up scared and end the experience? dont read about those astral horror stories. theyre only gonna fill you with bad ideas. nothing can harm you in the astral. you cant be touched if you dont wish to be. the astral you get things done with thought and will. the physical you get things done by physical work. understand? you cant get hurt. you wont even see anything scary unless its a fear youve created.. ap is a great thing. you gotta go about it in a peaceful and trusting mindset.. now stop talking about how youre scared about these things or youre gonna give more newbies bad ideas. and what IS this bullshit about praying. dont go calling people sinners..you know who you are..but if that works for you, then fine.. but with a subject like this i dont think that is appropriate to say at all... and about the pounding heart.. dont let that freak you out. youre not gonna have a heart attack or anything. its just your energy flowing before you AP. its your just getting in tune with your heart chakra. anyways im pretty excited about this preset. i cant wait to try it! i think ill try it when im tired.. belief is everything |

peter, Unless you've spent a lifetime working on removing fears, you will always have them... It is only a matter of "what", there are always fears... Mostly however it is the fear of the unknown, you don't know what it will be like entering the astral, so it scares you... Most people experience this when first starting... Those people who today have no fears, and been travelling a lot, was also afraid the first couple of times... You "just" have to find a way to overcome it, and do it anyway... You are right though, one shouldn't read those horror stories... They might not even be true. And the astral is a great thing, deciding not to go through with it because of the initial fear might cause you to miss out on some of the most exciting experiences of your life... So one must face the fear to get rid of it... |

yeah.. facing your fears is a good idea.. but i was just trying to appeal to the fear spreaders.. haha.. im not afraid of anything.. well not completely.. i just dont EXPECT anything scary to happen and that is a very important thing. im ready.. im ready.. im ready eady eady.. but not expecting!

I had lucid dream the first time I tried the song. I would hear voices and sounds of cutlery in the kitchen like someone was eating there. I felt that s-o-m-e-t-h-i-n-g was in my room. It was cool. I woke up scared and with high heart beat(there was no reason to be scared though). ps. I had 100s of lucid dreams in my life. In some I would "wake up" in my bad and from there fall asleep into "dreams" of whatever i want,do whatever I want and go anywhere I want.To get back I'd need to think about it. I would find in my bad hearing voices and have a feel(sometimes) as someone is touching me.From there if I wanted to I could wake up in the REAL world. To get dreams like this I would sleep no more than 7 hours for a week and it would come. I assumed that this is some body reaction. But this time I wasn't tired. I had nice 11 hours sleep a night before. I guess this music does help and work!!! |

I had a very nice lucid dream just after i tried this preset again ( after a longer time because i was away from home ). Funny is that i talked deutsch very well in the dream. Really really well i tell you.. i have quite a large vocabulary on deutsch but i can't talk so continuosly and quickly. Actually i was talking to a woman. When i woke up i had for 6 seconds a weird parfume like smell in my nose... parfumed people on astral? lol now this is gettin too weird.. And talking to other people who are actually very inteligent is even weirder ( especially quacking with them fluently with a language you're not much of a friend with ) And what's bad... after i woke up i was ill.. got a strong fever.. 39,7 celsius :( uhh |

Oh so after reading this discussion through I have a few questions 1:Is buying Brainwave worth it 2:During AS can you go any where (Tokyo) :-) 3: Has this preset worked for any one 4:If it has under what curcumstances 5:How long did it take 6:During AS is it just like halking without a body or is it like "fly" mode in games? I would really appreciate and and all feed back |

Hey, WannaKnow, I hope my answers solve your questions! 1-Yes, bwgen is cool. 2-Yes, I believe you can go to every place. 3-When I started to listening this preset, I have a strange sensation. After a few minutes, I begin to sense my hands floating, and freaked out. 4-You need to be relaxed. Concentrate the sound! 5-About 20 minutes... 6-I heard in other pages that you can walk, fly and teleport. Those are all the anwers I can give. I hope this helps. See ya! |

hey all...sorry for not replying...i forgot to come back here...no the sound sort of faded when i got out...BTW a word of advice to everyone... DO NOT LOOK AT YOUR ASTRAL BODY!!! if you look at your hands the are there for a second , then they melt away!!! it scared me alot then i was calm agian...ok cya everyone!!
|
| 16-Jan-2004, Cory |
|
BTW if you do look at your hands, feet, ect. and the melt away...there still there...you can still use them, just i guess that your astral body doesn't want to use up energy by making visual copies of your physical body...i donno...just try to refrain from looking at your body...BTW, yes you can fly and teleport i did that last night :-) it is very fun! and also you should try APing in a chair its more effective cause its hard to vizualize your self standing up when your laying down for some people and try not to fall asleep cause APing and remembering it is NOT falling asleep its CONCIOUS APING...DUH!! lol ok cya!!!

Cory, Cory, Thanks for finally replying, have another question for you though. When you actually "get up" do you "believe" it's your real body, or do you somehow visualize a non-physical body getting up, and in that case, "how"? Because some people insist you won't know the difference when getting up, and some (like you) say "visualize" getting up... Which is quite confusing... I have gone through many different stages trying to AP, but the part of getting up always confuses me, and it results in getting up physically and waking myself up... Thanks. |

I've been practising meditation for two years regularly. I've had two OOB's in my lifetime, one in the last year. Let me help you guys with some pointers here. 1. BWGEN helps you relax and enter trance, but does not guarantee Astral projection, nor OOBE. Use it if you feel you need the extra help to enter deep states, but don't count on it creating or forcing a state which you have not precticed enough to enter yet. 2. Controlling the mind is key. The mind is like a two year old child, you have to gently help it to stay focused on the task at hand, OR you must look at it like an outside observer. I.E. when you see a thought come up, look at it like you are simply an observer, no judgment or comment, just watch the thought come and then fade away gently. If you choose to help your mind stay blank rather than watch your thoughts, be easy on yourself by saying to yourself "Come back to me dear, think of nothingness". Gently nudge it like a child you care dearly for and want to help. Do not be hard on yourself by scorning, or cussing at yourself by floating onto a subject. Be easy on yourself and understanding. We all have to work a little to get our minds cleared. We are all human. 3. Utter relaxed states must be kept at all times. You will notice a sneeze, or cough, or even swallowing, or any action will temporarily break your state. Entering a trance state requires deep relaxed body which feels heavy, light, tingly, pulsing, etc. This is the indication you are reaching a level of relaxation, and possible start into deep trances on the edge of sleep. You must stay awake, but also in deep trance. This requires balance and practise. At this point, a command can be given to project, or an image of floating above yourself. Some use the idea of climbing a rope and concentrate on it. Sometimes people can simpyl give themselves the thought that when they enter that state, they will simply exit the body at that point. The subconcious is very suggestive and will somestimes follow your previous command once you enter that deep trance state. 4. When reaching a state which may be fascinating, or scary, you need to not panic, or become so interested that you start discussing it with yourself, just realize it is happening and continue to focus on continuing the feeling. To discuss it logically, or be scared of it will break the trance temporarily and you will need to refocus. Try focussing back on the sound, or an expercise, such as climbing an unlimited length of rope into the sky. 5. You may experience a type of temporary shift in consciousness that is alarmingand you need to handle this situation with special care. Once a deep trance is being entered, I will experience small amounts of time which my conscousness shifts. It is a situation where you lose track of a small amount of time. when you come back from the shift, you may panic, or ask yourself what you were doing for that small amoutn of time, don't ask yourself, because the answer is simple. You were in a deep trance where your mind was completely blank. This is what the mystics of the east call "Samadhi" or a blissful state. This is the goal of all meditators, and sometimes it takes people years of pratice in meditation to enter this state. When you enter this state, and then flash back from it and start asking yourself questions about what was happening, and why you were missing time, stop, think about the task at hand and think about how interesting and wonderful it will be to enter that state again. Re-focus. 6. It is very important that when you do actually project, that you NOT think about your body behind you, below you, etc. Do NOT look back at your body. Instead, think of what you would like to explore in your astral body, walk aroudn the house, go outside, try floating, traveling through a wall. If you do think about your body, or look back at it, or freak out that you are actually out, you will more than likely be thrust IMMEDIATELY back into your body. This has happened to me twice and I had to start all over again, it was very frustrating! 7. Please don't scare people on these boards about silly things like demons, how you might be hurt while projecting. Keep your religion and fears to yourself please. This is about helping each other experience a life changing, spiritual adventure, and supporting people while they try to experience the ultimate experience. Once you are able to Astral project, you will realize there is nothing ever to fear again, EVER. NOTHING can ever kill you inside, even death. You may even find that if you had a gun to your head in "real" life, you would not be fearful at all. Fear is your enemy!!! Once you make it out of your body once, you will KNOW what happens when you die, and that this whole existance in your body is only a temporary existance, the beginning of your life may not be what you though it was. Peace be with you all. I wish you all the very best experience, and sincerely hope you make it out. Maybe we can fly together...... Tad |

hello everyone! i was just wondering does anyone know how to use this preset properply?? because i need help with these questions 1. do you use some sort of technique like the ever so famous climbing the rope tecnique?? or do you just lay there and wait for an AP?? 2. do you go to sleep with it on? 3. how long does it actually take? thanks, C++ |

>i was just wondering does anyone know how to use this preset properly?? >because i need help with these questions Use the preset to help you calm your mind and enter a trance state. Other presets such as Deep Mind VI can also do this. Tommi's Vibration starter is another good one. But the vibration technique for exiting the body is a brute force method, and once you get "flung" out of your body, you might panic. It's not a very good one to start with, but it is interesting and even fun if you are experienced and unafraid. >1. do you use some sort of technique like the ever so famous climbing the rope >tecnique?? or do you just lay there and wait for an AP?? I use two methods I was taught by Doctor Lawrence LeShan. Both are meditations, and both take practice. The first is the thought bubble meditation. Though bubble technique is used for clearing your mind of daily junk. You imagine yourself at the bottom of a crystal clear blue pond, able to breath underwater, and the water is nice and warm. It's a nice sunny summer day with only a slight breeze rippling the surface of the pond. There are no fish around. You close your eyes and just let any thought come to mind. When a thought arises, put it into a bubble, and watch it slowly float to the surface and disappear. When another thought comes, you put it also into a bubble and let it float away. When you can think of nothing, put nothing into a bubble and let it float away. Don't examine the thought inside the bubble, but rather just watch it float away. No discussion about the bubble, it's size, or the thought inside. You will find it amazing how effective this is at clearing your mind. You will come to a point where you no longer have any thoughts, and only a very tranquil, empty mind is left. You can use the presets to help calm your mind and body during the process. For exiting, I get to a state where I think I am ready, barely on the edge of consciousness, I think about floating above my body. A blue or pale white image of myself, rise out of my body, first my arms, then legs, then head, until I am out. for free meditations go to: http://www.meditationsociety.com >2. do you go to sleep with it on? No, I lay down to sleep when I want to sleep. I sit in a comfortable chair (Egyptian form of meditation posture). The point is to stay awake, but enter a deep trance on the edge of sleep. A comfortable chair will make it harder to fall alseep than a bed, but easy to get extremely loose and relaxed. I take three very deep breaths and hold them for as long as I can, then exhale. Then I put my headphones on and hit the play button. Close my eyes and start the journey. >3. how long does it actually take? I spend an hour per night, late at night. Sometimes I can enter a deep trance within a few minutes, other times it takes 45 minutes. It depends on how sleepy you are, or how much thinking you are doing. I have found one hour of deep meditation makes me feel as though I have had four or more hours of deep sleep. It's very refreshing. Another thing I have found is the more I practice, the faster I learn things and remember things. Especially programming languages and difficult scientific principles. Very interesting indeed. I have tried many of these presets and none seem to work for me, no matter how relaxed i am. Is there anything I could be doing wrong? i just lie down and listen to the sound, and relax, but nothing seems to happen. How long do i have to focus on the sound? should i be relaxed before i begin? thanks |

am trying this for the first time here in a little bit. Ive just gotten into the whole brainwave generator thing in the past couple of weeks and am very pleased. I suffer from insomnia and am very surprised at what the sleep induction and relaxation presets have done to help. Appreciate all the information that everyone provides. Will report back on success/failure.

Wow, for some reason I was drawn to this brainwave stuff, and I came to this preset. I read through this page last night and decided to give it a try. I didn't have the the time to burn the preset onto CD, so I just decided to experiment with what everybody was saying, without the music. I wasn't expecting anything, but here's my story: Last night, 11:40 - Went into a meditative (I guess? I've never done this before) state, lieing on bed. And tried my best at the underwater bubble technique to clear my thoughts. - The only thing I thought about was my breathing, and I ignored all itches and urges to move my body. - Eventually, my body became very numb, and my mouth dry. - Only took time to swallow saliva. - My thoughts became less and less frequent and eventually, they drifted away. - When they drifted away, I entered a state of no thought (I was unconscious of this fact). - All of the sudden, I became conscious of something happening. - I was starting to lose touch with my body. - My breathing was falling from my control. - I was losing touch of my physical body and I was conscious of this. - The shade of black on my eyelids were changing to a more pure shade, I could see wave-like movement between the black shades. - It then felt as if I could see a hole that I could go into. It also felt as if I was not breathing, as I could not feel or control my breathing. - I can kind of remember a tingly feeling in my throat and lungs. - I decided that I was not ready to move further (even if I could), and I was afraid that if I did my body would suffocate on it's own. - I opened my eyes and jolted my body out of it. - Everything was back to normal. - I was excited that this actually happened, as I've never felt anything like it. - I looked at my clock and it was 12:05, 20 minutes later. So, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this was, in fact the start of Astral projection, or if it was something else. Thanks. |

JOHNDOE : This is very funny but almost the same thing happened to me last night. And i wasn't even using bwgen. In my case the feeling of being pulled out of body was much much stronger even without the presence of bwgen. It was the weirdest thing ever. I felt like my arm is 99 metres long and the rest of my body few cm small. I actually had alot of sensations.. i don't want to describe them all but somehow all these sensations were very fammiliar to me.. like i had them before but i don't remember when... Strange is also that now i can fell weird pulsing in both of my palms ( it's not heart beat ) and i can control the feeling with my will... those pulses are like waves of force pushing into my palm.... afterall maybe it's normal :D |

JOHNDOE, unless I'm not mistaken it sounds sort of like you entered the meditative deep-tranceish type of state (deep alpha or even theta waves, or something). It's kinda almost sleep, but not quite. This, I think, is where most people supposedly project from. There's many methods to do the projecting. One more popular one is imagening you are pulling at rope above you, and pulling out of your body. You shouldn't actually visualize the rope, just feel it (without physically moving, or you'd kill the meditation). Visalizing the rope can distract you, and your mind may play tricks on you, like someone above described the rope falling. Other techniques might be imagening your consciousness in a different spot, or imaging your energy self lifting up out of your body (as Tad explained), though those are sometimes less natural things to picture. If anyone else has more, please share =) I've not yet tried any of these (likely tonight or tommorow night I'll go for the meditation, and maybe try the rope if I get there), but some people say it works. And that was all spewed from what knowledge I know. I've never actually done it, or know if astral projection is real or just an imaginary dream state, but whatever. I shall find out soon enough, hopefully. |

I feel I need to go over a few more things since I realize that most of the writings about OOBE's don't cover the mindset well enough. It's a difficult subject to put into words a place in which you use no words. Like I have mentioned before I have only been really "out of body" twice (that I remember), so I am still very much an amateur. But I do have the key mindset for what it takes to make it out again. Let me explain: I was 8 years old at the time. I was napping in the middle of the day on a saturday, school was out and I was tired from riding bicycles all day with my friends. There was an elementary school behind my house and I heard my friends in the schoolyard playing on the jungle gym. As I dozed off, I suddenly realized I was standing up, but my feet were off the ground slightly. Strangely enough I thought nothing of it, but I did have the urge to move up higher into the air. To my absolute delight I started floating higher and higher until I was up to the height of the telephone wires and power lines which ran behind my house. I willed myself to move forward towards the school grounds where I remembered my friends were playing. My sight was strangely "cloudy" or hazy on the peripheral, but I could see my direction fine. I flew over the jungle gym and found both of them climbing on it. Excited to show my friends I could fly, I yelled to the top of my lungs!, but they didn't seem to hear me. I went down closer to the ground to get near them so they could see me, thinking that somehow I was not close enough for them to notice me. But even then, they could not see me or hear me, no matter how hard I yelled at them. Instead I decided to fly over the school rooftops and down to the beach which was only a quarter mile away. I flew over the breaking waves in absolute bliss. The feeling of flying was so good I could not even put it into words, it was absolute freedom, absolute fun, nothing could ever compare. Just as I thought about my house and my family, I flashed back into my body with an almost painful crash. I hopped out of my bed in utter excitement, and ran out into the street by my friend who lived next door. I saw both of my friend riding their bikes down the street and asked them if they "saw me". They looked at me with a stupified look as if I was crazy, or they simply didn't understand what I was talking about. The strange and important thing about this experience that as I remember back, I now realize they were wearing the same color clothes that I had seen them wearing as I flew over them on the jungle gym. My friend Todd was wearing a bright red sweat shirt and torn up blue jeans, my friend Nate was wearing a black tee-shirt and jeans with some new boots I had not seen him wear before then. I later found out that his mom had bought them for him that day, before he went riding. As I grow older now (33), I have developed a mindset which grows more skeptical of this world seemingly by the day. I hear stories of all sorts of miracles in the past and present that quite frankly, leave me laughing at the possibility. So for me, Astral projection was an impossibility until it happened to me again recently, and how I remembered back into my past one detailed example of my first experience validated that these experiences CAN be scientifically validated. So for me at this point, there is no doubt that not only does Astral projection exist, but it can definitely be validated through scientific means. Major challenges to achieving an OOBE are: 1. Extreme Balance: OOBE's are extremely touchy. States of mind not only have to be controlled, but also, there is a very fine balance between making it out without going to sleep first, and, or being to tense so you not only don't project, but also can't reach a relaxed state required for exiting. This takes lots of practise for most of us, especially me. After 6 months of meditation practice (before I found BWGEN), I was able to reach trances deep enough to project. Even then, I was always expecting to project, even willing it to be, and this caused it never to happen. 2. Keeping your cool: The second time I was able to "make it out" I was frustrated at even trying to project and instead was in a meditation that was simply for practicing getting into a deep trance. Not expecting to have an OOBE, and in a deep trance, I was able to exit. When I did finally exit, and found myself floating above my body, I was so excited that I freaked out at the thought of being successful! wooohooo! I thought. A second later I thought about my body sitting there in meditation and BAM! I was back in. Now I was frustrated that I had freaked out and vowed never to get that excited after exiting. 3. Doubt: Just like I said, doubt that they actually exist can easily keep you from having one without a serious amount of work. 25 years after having my first OOBE as a child I was still very doubtful about my first OOBE. Thinking it might have been just a dream, or I might have imagined the whole thing. This mindset had kept me from having another conscious OOBE for years, and thus had to be overcome. I am not saying become a true believer, quite the contrary. I am simply saying, keep an open mind, don't expect it to happen, but also keep an open mind that it might very well happen so you will be prepared. 4. Fear: Any fear is usually fear of the unknown. It is strange and scary to think that we do have a soul, which is capable of great things, include travel to any point at the speed of a thought. The fear that maybe you might meet someone you don't want to meet. Fear that soemthing evil might find you or take over your body while you are away, etc etc. These things are fears we all think of, but I can tell you from experience, they are all a bunch of BS. Your soul is absolutely unable to be damaged in any way, it is energy in it's purest form, and it cannot be destroyed nor harmed in any way, period. If you do become scared as you are about to exit, or are already out, remember this. 5. Clarity: Your state of mind before you try to enter deep trance also effects how easily it will be to exit. If you are tired and your mind is easily able to wonder off onto a single thought, then you will most likely have an easier time exiting, but a harder time staying awake until you do exit. Try meditations like the "Thought Bubble" I told you about after a long day, or after staying up late. When you do sit down to meditate and possibly project, put a thought in your mind beforehand. Tell yourself you will stay awake during the whole meditation, and be ready if something should happen. Tell yourself that if you don't stay awake, you may project and not remember it, which is almost as bad as not projecting at all. 6. Remember, most of us project all the time during sleep, but the problem is that we don't remember it. The reason is that the whole experience still needs to download into your bodily memory in order for you to remember it. When we get exicited about the experience after we have projected, it almost always causes a download into our bodies memory. Which explains why failed attempts, or partial OOBE's in which we become excited or fearful to an extreme are almost always remembered, because the emotion forced the download into bodily memory. I think it was author Robert Bruce who said that he is calm and collected during an Astral projection up until he is ready to merge with the body. He then gets extremely excited and emotional about the experience, and highlights the experience with a shout, which causes a download into memory. 7. Practice: Practice, practice, practice. And the more I seem to practice, the better it gets. The problem for me in the past is that I took a few months off at a time when I got busy with work. Not only does this stop your progress, but it also seems to take you back to square one. You seem to lose the feelings of when you are getting close, and also revert back to your old ways in how your mind acts when trying to calm your thoughts. This is VERY bad for me since I hate having to start all over again. Since a few weeks ago I have started a very consistant regimine of daily meditations, and don't plan on stopping until I am gone form the planet, or have my third OOBE. Determination seems to be another key. Books to read: I have read Robert Bruce's "Astral Dynamics" and liked it, although the book is so HUUUGE that it is very hard to read all the way through, much less not get bored before you reach the exercises. A very good book I read on it is: "The Secret of the Soul : Using Out-of-Body Experiences to Understand Our True Nature" by William L. Buhlman. I am now reading to more books mainly on technique: "Have an out of body experience in 30 days" by Keith Harary PH.D, and Pamela Weintraub and "Experiencing Astral Travel, An 8 week course" by V.M. Beelzebub I will report on them if you want to hear about them. Until then, Best of luck to all of you. Tad |

P.S. John Doe - You were close. Next time try sitting in a comfortable chair. Don't be afraid of losing control of your body. In fact, you have to totally become unaware of your body in order to exit. As long as you have a brain, your mind will keep your body running. Everything you fealt is not only normal, but happens to me most every night during deep trance. This is a good thing. Second point: try taking the BWGEN OFF once you reach that state. This will bring you back out a bit, but you will get back into trance quickly and won't have any noise as a distraction before you exit. Use one arm to pull your headphones off, and then as quickly as possible get back into the trance state. Be ready to exit by visualization techniques. Don't freak out, or you will regret it like I have in the past. Tad |

Thanks Tad, good read. (Oh and I've been doing this without any bwgen, because the first time I tried I didn't have access to it, and I got satisfying results) While, I tried again last night and got even closer. I reached the trance state I was at last time, but this time, my breathing came easy because I was focusing on the rope thing. I got immersed into this first trance state, and my body was really numb again, and a lot of energy or something seemed to be flowing in it. I noticed the wavy shades of black again as I was entering this state, but they mostly went away when I was in it. I was in this state for what seemed like a couple of minutes, and then it started happening again. The wavy shades came back, and I guess I was transferring to a deeper trance state. My body got really numb, and I could barely feel it, but then it almost felt as if I was floating a bit off my bed. It also felt like there was even more darkness all around me. And then the thing came that confirmed to me, that I was almost there, was that my eyes went absolutely crazy with twitching for about 10 seconds. They then calmed down, and I felt like I was floating a bit higher. I was satisfied with what I had achieved, and a bit freaked out, so I jolted my self out of it and opened my eyes really quickly again. I don't feel ready to move to the astral quite yet, and I don't want my first experience to be a frightening one. I found my self in my dark room, but as soon as I stood up my body felt different. I felt quite a bit weighed down, and there was a really nice energy going through my body that I would have enjoyed if it weren't for the fact that I was still pretty freaked out. I was slowly walking around my room, and stopping and just thinking, and staring into nothing. It was a nice afterfeel, but one that, unfortunately I didn't enjoy because of the fear I was having (kinda like the fear when you're walking in the dark in your house after watching a good horror movie). I wasn't comfortable in my room. I was very imaginative and was almost expecting hallucinations to happen. Which of course, wouldn't. My eyes felt kind of trippy too when I was looking at light, but that was probably just the darkness and my eyes adjusting to them, making everything weird. I eventually walked to the bathroom and washed off my face, and then decided to listen to the radio (to me the radio is comforting. After a couple minutes I wasn't afraid anymore, so I put my head down and went to sleep. So, the main thing was that I purposefully stopped this process because I was afraid to go further, but I do think that I can. I guess I have good natural conentration and relaxation skills, because this whole thing, once again, lasted just over 20 minutes. I think for the next time I try though (may be tonight, if I'm up to it, who knows), I want to be in a happier environment. Waking up in the darkness of my room made for an unhappy after experience. Maybe I could try it with the lights on? Or would that make it a lot harder? Thanks for reading. Any response would be appreciated. |

John Doe, Darkness for me seems more calming than with the lights on, but if you are tired enough it shouldn't matter. The eyes twitching sporatically is strange. I'm not sure what causes it, but it happens to me most every session. Must be a neurological explanation for it, but I don't know what it is. I personally find it very difficult to imagine things with enough clarity and realism to make myself believe I am there, or could be. I think it's difficult for many people to imagine climbing an unlimited rope into the sky as well. Even with a fairly creative mind, I find it best to use sensory feedback before trying to imagine the rope, or the bubble meditation. You need to also figure out what the cause of your fear is and deal with it. You will need to be totally serene and unafraid in order to have the best experience. Kinda like losing your fear of sharks when swimming in the ocean. Tad |

You might also find a very weird feeling. It's a feeling you are moving sideways, or twisting (your whole body). It's the same type of feeling if you have had too much to drink, and are lying in your bed on your back and the cieling starts twisting, ecept this happens totally naturally obviously. This means your Astral body has already split and is loose and floating, and all it needs is you to try and stand up, or command it to move out further. The astral body will still feel as though it is your normal body until you separate the two with more distance. My second consious OOBE happened this way, with these sensations. Tad |

Hello everyone, I've been trying this sound to, but nothing very strange happened. My body was completely relaxt, and after about 30 minutes one of my arms started shaking every now and than, but just a little bit, not much, it was more like a twitch. After listening to it for about 54 minutes, i wanted to stop, because i didn't think anything was going to happen... but I couldnt move... i mean... i could... but it whas as if i didnt WANT to move.. very weird. Eventually succeeded getting out of my bed, and now I'm here telling you guys my story. How come that I didnt have an AP or OOBE? Do I just have to try it some more? Martijn |

is http://www.worldofalternatives.com/209thresholdthankyou.htm the Obe one??? Thats here http://www.worldofalternatives.com/oobe.htm , when downloaded File says Astral.wav, they have a page AP and obe, just wondering if they are the same file or different? and is that wav the same as this bwgen preset? |

Donnie, Close to the same file. I never projected using the World of alternatives Astral Wave file after many months of trying. This file is about the same, and seems to get me close but no cigar yet, of course I need more practice though. Tad |

Whoa! After about 5 mins I felt my entire body get really hot. Then I saw a reflection of my face (with my eyes closed). In the reflection was a whiteish light on my forehead. Any tips or comments are appreciated. |

Light on forehead? Between your eyebrowns? Congratulation! It was Brow chakra, a.k.a. The Third Eye. It is good for OOBE.

I get the vibrations on a regular basis and have now started hearing buzzing. Last night I "felt" a bug on my head and jumped out of bed. That wasn't the first time I saw bugs. Anyone else have this experience?
|

|
I personally hate buzzing noises, and one time after spending a day of being outside camping amongst alot of flies and stuff (and being freaked out every time I heard a buzz... the actually flies don't bother me) I began to hear a buzzing that couldn't exist. After freaking out for quite some time, I figured out what it was: a boat (or something rediculous like that... a truck maybe). I'm just saying that the mind can play tricks on yourself. I've felt twitching with BWGen presets before, and when I've tried to get completely body relaxed, Sjabbie. The preset itself can't really (easily) induce an astral projection, as people have explained before. You have to use one of the techniques on various sites to actually get there. The vibrations themselves are like what I've heard of an uncontrollable seizure. This is as far as I've gotton on APs/OOBEs (still have fear), and that was only because I saw "HBO" in a creepy lucid dream (just white letters on blackness, and nothing else at all... like someone wanted me to see it). This made me think of "OBE", and kicked me into the vibes. The vibrations were an intense full-body shake coupled with a slight sensation of kinda pain, though it doesn't really hurt in much of a bad way. The vibrations were also coupled with the type of humming you hear when you yawn and such. It was really rather odd, but it convinced me to start taking this crazy stuff seriously :). As of yet I have yet to duplicate it with BWGen alone, and as soon as I can conquer the fear completely I'm trying some of the methods I've read. |

Hello - first post :) I read the Treatise on Astral Projection years ago, practiced for a number of nights, and finally gave up after getting close but not actually getting there so many times. I've felt my whole body vibrate, but never actually got out of my body. I just started looking into the Brainwave Generator over the last couple of days and listened to this preset about an hour ago for about 16 minutes. Unfortunately, I felt virtually nothing, even though I was practicing the techniques in the ToAP. I'm not sure what I need to really get this going, 'cause... I'd like to. :) |

Keep reading, keep working at it, and it will happen. It took me over a year of nightly practice to get my second conscious OOBE I've ever had in my life. It happened during a meditation I had been practicing for a long time. So it will happen for you, you just have to keep working on it nightly. I would also read more books on it, since some techniques will work better for you than others, it depends on the person. Tad |

I tried this again without success, sitting comfortably in my chair, but I kept getting swept to the side with each "wave." Should I be going with this, ie maybe it will sweep me out of my body? Thanks, Wes |

wes, study up on projection techniques, maybe do some research on popular sites like www.astralpulse.com and such. in answer to your question though, if you feel that you could be swept out of your physical body when listening, than by all means go with it, and always know in your mind that you REALL DO want to project and that you WILL project no matter what.

With this preset I manage to reach the deep relaxation state where vibrations start, almost every time I use it. I 've been experimenting with OBE presets about three weeks and I'm glad to see that there are very interesting things for someone to feel such as deep relaxation and vibrations. The problem is that after a second the vibrations have started, I pop out of this relaxation almost instictively and so they are gone. I 've overcame the logical fear of the vibrations and I want to keep them, but there seems to be something in the subconcious that spoils this relaxing state. Has anyone managed to keep them going for a long period of time? How difficult is it to overcome this problem and how much time and effort you need in order to get familiar with the vibrations? I would like also to thank Tad for the so usefull information he provided us. Keep trying, persistence is the key! |

neuro hack brought up a good point. when i meditate, (being farely new at these things) i can relax/ignore/numb MOST of my body with the exception of 2 things: 1) eyes a. twitching eyelids b. eye movement c. focusing depth (1 inch distance, 10 feet distance) d. ignoring the swirly greenish patterns that randomly appear 2) mouth a. swallowing b. dry throat c. feeling of needing to clear throat so i do... anybody have any tips or instructions on how to overcome the obstacles? |

Eye twitching, swallowing, tickling when you just about to get "deeper" is like your body trying to keep you from meditating. Its really an obstacle for some people. It may help you to put your head a litte to the side so you don't need to swallow, or stretch your muscles before you start, to release tension. Don't let your mind be distracted from just feeling.
|

zerox, please exaggurate... but i know that everything im familiar with requires that you do keep your eyes closed. if by any chance you mean the Flash Window in bwgen, yeah you keep your eyes closed and make that full screen.

Brin: from what I've read and experienced is that you will get better at staying awake at low brainwave states in time with practice.

another thing your breathing is vary important. breathing in segments (beats) eg if breath in pause in pause in pause out pause with a 1 beat every inhale would be i1.i1.i1.e1 (pause is always a beat) there are some grate relaxing breaths that can draw closer an ap. when linked with the sugestion that every breath brings closer an astral projection and draws your astral boddy out of your physical body this method can realy excell here are the brathing pattons you could used or develop your own that works (if its relaxing and takes no effort to do then thatll work) i3.i3.e4(inhale for 3 beats pause inhale for 3 beats pause exhale for 4 beats) i7.e3.e3 i2.i2.i2.e1.e3 this will help the chanses and with less consentration on counting the better you should be avel to do it with no consentating after a while when you get in to a rythem and another thing if you ad a sugestion that every breath in gives you your vibrations this will happon tense up all muscles and slowly relax them befor asking your subcontious for the vibrations this will give your self a physical sugestion as well as a mental one if any thing in this post is confusing pleas post and ask if you wana know something ill be checking or send me an email ill be mor than happy to help all felow people who are in the astral fame of mind |

Greetings! It is 6:40 am right now and I just finished trying out your preset. I listened to it for 40 minutes and I had the strangest reactions. I am a person who is into and studies OOBEs, APs, and lucid dreams. The first 5 minutes of this preset relaxed me 100% (Good job!). 15 minutes minutes later I noticed my thought patterns were diminishing as it progressed, this cleared out the "memo-pad" part of the mind. My body started to tingle as I began to feel highly disassociated. I kept my focus, by relaxing my eyes and mind. I began to lose all awareness of what was around me and thoughts were visualizing in my mind as split second holograms. Then a wave of tingling came over my body as I began to feel my eyes twitch from left to right very rapidly. At first this made me uncomfortable because I could not control it. I tried to relax and go with the flow. For a moment I began to see illumination as if someone was slowly turning on the lights. The REM got worse and my breathing became rapid along with a fast heartbeat. I couldn't focus any longer and ended up waking up very quickly. For about 5 minutes afterwards my body began to shake (anxiety?), but it soon went away. Any comments or suggestions? Thanks!

I tried this last night. The first 20 minutes were very relaxing and nice. As I was drifting off, the sound stopped, as supposed and -BANG- I immediately was fully aware, lost the contact to my body and started seeing flashing "stars" behind my closed eyes. It was so intense that I got too exited and couldn't handle it. Anyway, the effect was more than I awaited. It was like a rocket instantly after the sound had stopped... I heard a loud hissing sound... It propably was just my own breathing. I've had the vibrations and others without any presets, but they never have been this intense, not even close. Just astonishing. Highly recommended. Listen only for 20 minutes. |

Hi guys Well let’s start, I think that almost all of us are going in light trance (mental and physical relaxation) when we listen bwgen presets which is good very good. Now, the problem is that we need a medium trance (visual hallucinations) or even better a deep trance (somnambulism) for astral projection. Obtaining this is quite simple or not cause that depends on us, but we all can get in there. So take you’re mic and record (u can go on google and search for free hypnotic scripts) Or u can ask for a friend or a hypno pro. [recording] take a deep breath, slowly, slowly, take another one you first saw when you were born and without knowing that was the first mental image that u created, later you have learn the objects, the colors, and u’ve created mental images with all this even later u’ve learn the letters, A, B, C, and so on, it was hard at first but in the end u succeeded and with everything new that u felt or saw u’ve created mental images now u can go with your mind to rediscover all that u wish, u may feel water, warm, sunbeams u can do whatever u wish You don't even have to listen to my voice, because your unconscious will hear it. Just relax, take another deep breath, and u will soon discover the beauty of your unconscious mind that can try whatever it wants when we go to bed for sleep we are thinking at many things and we jump from one thought to another until we soon fall deep asleep we start to dream, and the dreams push us even deeper into sleep Now physical comfort exists, but you don't even need to pay attention to your relaxation and comfort. it can take time to go deeper into the trance, but when your unconscious will be ready it will let u slide all the way u can just let yourself dream…and let your unconscious mind work on, whatever it wishes one of you’re hand will start to raise in the air soon, as u go deeper asleep, it will raise a few inches (centimeters) and the it will go easily back u don’t need to think about it cause your unconscious mind will take care of it now I will slowly count from 10 to 1 in any way I want and u can notice the small vibrations that every number produces them u can notice them inside you, and u can notice how after every vibration u become more and more relaxed permitting u to go even deeper asleep 10, 9, 8, 4, 6, 5, 7, 9, 3, 2, 1… some times we all lose track of time, we lose the sensation of our body we forget were we are you can go into a trance to find out a whole lot of things that you can do. And they are so many more than you dreamed of. I will start counting shortly again from 10 to 1 and know you will discover that your entire body will start to vibrate, and your astral body will begin to arise slowly departing from your physical body, and your conscious moving into the astral body when you’ll get back in your body you will start counting from 1 to 10 and slowly wake up as u count every time u’ll find it more easy to go in trance, it’s like a road that now u know it and u understanding it better. And every time u’ll go deeper and deeper it may take some time for your astral body separating completely, it’s own time 10….9….the vibrations are getting stronger…9…8…..7….the legs are staring to separate….7….6….5…the hands are starting to separate…4…3…the entire body it’s starting to separate….3….2…..1…..your conscious is moving in your astral body, your astral body is rising [end] well guys good luck pls feedback succes or fail (on APWF2) it shoud go better with a good preset (one that works for u) |

I started meditating at about 11:30 and it took me approximetly 8 mins to start projecting. I could literaly see my eyelids blinking. Getting detached from body is the weirdest feeling ever! I could sense goosebumps allover my body and a strange cold feeling. Really cold! Then I got scared and aborted everything. I'll try again tomorrow. This time I won't fail for sure!

Gave this one a try, not much to say except that it was relaxing in a sneaky kind of way. The funny thing is, I didn't realize that I had Tommi's Vibe Starter in the CD player as well, so when this one ended, Tommi's kicked in and scared the literal hell out of me (volume changes). I assumed that it was all part of the same preset. Anyway, I continued listening (to Tommi's) for about 12 minutes with brief periods of unexplained sensations. Finally, when I got annoyed with the sound (happens to me a lot) I went to switch it off. Here is the funny part: As I approached the CD player, I could hear this weird sound. It turns out that it was the disc reader but it was going through my ears with a vibe on it. Strangest damn thing. I turned on the radio and sure enough, the vibe continued and did so for about 20 minutes until my normal hearing returned. Anyone else have these kind of experiences? I have used Tommi's since its release with varying degrees of success and have never experienced anything like this before. It wasn't unsettling, just weird. I am going to play around with the two presets for awhile and see if I can duplicate this phenomenon again.

Hello, im all new to this AP stuff, actually, I just started reading today. Sounds really interesting and I really want to try it, I'm a little scared but I'll get over it, I don't expect to succeed in my first try, not even in my 10 first tries, I'll kepp you posted. I have one question though, maybe it has been answered already but I cant find it. While projecting, what "world" are you in? Is it the real world or is it all in your head? Sounds really freaky if it would be the real world, because then you could see whats going on in places you've never been, this sounds Really surreal to me, hope someone can clear this up for me, thanks! =) |

Hey, its me again, Holy shit.. I tried it, in the beginning I had trouble letting my thoughts go but after a while I started feeling very harmonic and calm, I felt as if I was on the edge of sleeping but I was still awake and then something Really freaky happened. As I was laying there concentrating on my breathing I felt as if I took shorter and shorter breaths until I couldn't feel I was breathing anymore, I wasn't scared but it felt weird, I know my body was breathing but I wasn't controlling it. Then I got this thingling feeling in all of my body, it felt great and it felt as if i started to "sway" upwards. Then my damn phone rang, my eyes opened and I was really pissed at my mom for disturbing me :D I will definatly try this again

That's pretty much the sort of feeling one gets when consciously falling asleep and such. It should also, if you simply will it or want it, be the perfect time to plop you into the "Astral Projection" state. This would be more likely than simply falling asleep because you'd likely be thinking about AP as this is happening. A simple accidental thought in that state can do all sorts of wacky things (hallucinatory/dream-like or not), which is why you shouldn't think too much about holding it and not snapping out of it, but rather about what you want to achieve with it. |

Hello all, Steven, it is common what you experienced, your body began to "fall asleep" or go into a basic body going numb phase, which is a commen pre-curser for deeper levels of "trance" which are neccessary for OBE. Sounds by the images you saw that it was hynogogic imagry which is also common in trance. alot of times these images will develop into dreamlets or even take on a 3d type appearance, this is my main method of AP. get into trance, watch for the "images" to start, keep watching and alow myself to drift deeper to the point of almost falling asleep, the images turn 3d or a scene will appear and start playing out and at the point, I will shift my conciousness into the scene or try to touch the 3d object, for me at least once I do this, then the vibes will sometimes happen but not always. At this point I will find my self in the scene or I will be floating above my body in my room. The key is to stay in the "borderland state" between awake and asleep, much harder than it sounds. pracice and determination yet staying passive will bring success. Good luck As far as this preset it is one of the few that actually cause me to seperate with no effort. This only happened once out of 10 times with this preset. about 10 minutes into it. I felf my body begin to slide to the left. kind of like the effect of hydroplaning in a car. I just kind of slid off to the left and as I was nearing the edge of the bed, I became concerned that I would crash onto the floor, so I braced as I went over the edge and there was no crash, I was floating near the floor next to my bed, It floored me as this was never that easy to get out. When you see yourself laying on the bed and you are not in your body, it makes you a believer fast. like I said though, 1 time out of 10 with this preset. Now I write all my own presets after months and months of messing with different frquencies. I have learned that everyone responds to different frequencies differently, so what works for me may not effect you at all, you have to find which individual signals works for you. I have found that the bwgen is most useful to get into trance fast then you have to take it from there. you will do it. fly_oobe_style |

Thanks Fly_oobe_style.Well they say that you have to be verry open minded to achieve this, and i am. I have a lot of Violet in my aura, I wonder if that will help in ana way or if it tells that i am open minded enough to actually oobe.i Tried it again and i saw this eye blinking in front of me, got excited and lost it, was too depro to try again. whats the best way to keep your self focused. I stare at the black and then suddenly my mind wants to wonder off, its not easy.

Will this Lucid Dream Mp3 help me in the end to achieve an OOBE? I began to watch my own aura and did that brain excercises so that the left brain and right is in sync and all that, so im so curious and cant seem to get enough. Hopefully i will actually be able to get an OOBE. Any help or info would be great. Thanks for this amazing post!!!!! |

today, i made my first (ever) conscious or deliberate attempt at astral projection, using this preset. i have not researched the practice of astral projection. i am familiar with self-relaxation and control of one's own mind, though things like meditation have always eluded me. i have difficulty stopping the constant internal dialogue of my own mind. my experience with this preset was very minimal, but i am inclined to believe this is due to my inexperience with astral projection, and possibly the circumstances of my first attempt. to start off, i put on my headphones, initiated the preset, and laid down on my bed. i did not cover myself, thinking that less physical sensation would provide less distraction from what i was trying to accomplish. i usually have difficulty laying on my back for extended periods. my body gets restless, and i want to shift to my side, but my headphones prohibit that. with this preset, i did not experience that feeling of physical restlessness. i turned off the 'continue after segments' option, as advised by Dofto. for the length of the preset, i tried to just let my mind wander, rather than trying to focus on quieting it, or drifting off to sleep. it is worth noting that at the time of my attempt, i had been awake for no more than three hours, after a full night's rest. during the twenty minutes the preset ran, i did not experience any feeling of boredom, or a desire to get back up and do something. that is rare for me, as i usually like to be doing something either physically or at my computer. it felt like i was alone with my own thoughts. i felt relaxed, and the water sound reminded me of a good experience from my early childhood, the memory of which brought about a combination of sadness and nostalgia for the person i shared it with, who is gone now. my mind gradually drifted away from that thought, and almost reached what i can only refer to as an 'in between' place. something in between consciousness and sleep. i've had that feeling of being 'in between' before. when i was in school, it was extremely common. i would lay my head down on my desk and drift off to the point that i might drool because my mouth was open and facing down, and not even realize it. however, i would not be fully unconscious. i would remain aware of my surroundings, the fact that i was at school, the voices of classmates and teachers, but i would feel almost disconnected from (though still aware of) my body. it was like exploring my own mind, in darkness. sometimes i would even make snoring noises, which i would occasionally become aware of and either silence by changing my breathing (while still 'in between') or by simply rousing myself back to full consciousness if i was also aware of people commenting on the snores. if a teacher noticed my lack of attention and called on me to answer a question, thinking i would be unable to answer. however, i could always remember the external dialogue of students and teachers that i had heard while nearly unconscious, and i would answer the question. this continued until i dropped out of highschool, which was three years ago. i never viewed it as astral projection, and i never got a feeling of leaving my body, being able to travel spiritually through time or space, or of being able to visit locations to which i had never been before. occasionally, it would seem as if i were going to fall in a little bit deeper, but when i experienced that feeling, i was often awakened by some internal jolt, or i simply fell asleep entirely, with no memory of what i might have perceived while fully unconscious. as i let my mind wander, my thoughts gradually stretched out at one point, as they always did before i slipped in between consciousness and sleep. however, some noise or sensation jolted me out of it. i could not identify whether the feeling that stopped me was caused by something internal or external. the feeling of slipping 'in between' happened only that one time during the twenty minutes, i would guess roughly halfway through. i did have some feeling of anticipation, or desire to project, because i have always been curious about whether or not such things are truly possible, or are simply different variations of the internal dialogue achieved by manipulating one's level of consciousness. i reminded myself, before beginning, and during the course of the experiment, that projection on the first attempt was extremely unlikely, and i would be better served by not thinking about it, and just letting my mind wander on unrelated matters. the time after i nearly slipped in between consciousnesses felt much like the time before, up until the abrupt ending. i had grown accustomed to the relaxing tone, and gentle loop of waves. when they abruptly cut off, i felt a very slight pressure over my body, especially my chest. no sensation was the least bit painful or alarming, and i did not physically twitch. no itching, though my hands, legs and feet did tingle slightly. i felt a comforting but very slight warmth move across me, but i was still fully conscious and bound to my body. the comforting sensations gradually subsided over the course of a minute, after which i got up. while i didnt feel any severe sensation of itching, i did feel, maybe five times, an itch at a random place on my body, different each time and never persistant. this is not at all uncommon for me, but i do not feel the random singular itches so often unless i am unoccupied. when these occurred, i would move to scratch lightly without thinking about it, and the physical activity seemed reset any level of mental relaxation i had achieved, as it always does. i plan to continue my attempts at least once per day, if only to train myself to exercise more control over my excessively noisy mind. however, i do have the following questions: would it be more effective to play the preset before going to bed, falling asleep before the end? is this common practice, or generally ineffective? is it less effective to attempt projection from a state of full consciousness and mental alertness, as i did? out of curiosity, has anyone ever 'moved' somewhere else while projecting, and if so, were you able to identify any action, object, or circumstance that you could later confirm has having actually happened while you were projecting yourself to the spot? is the feeling of slipping in between consciousness that i described either some form of projection, or a step toward it, or some sort of projection limitted by my own mind? do background noises matter very much? i have a high-rpm cpu fan that makes a high-pitched noise which isnt especially loud, but can be heard through while the headphones are on and the preset is running, if i focus on it. i can not deactivate the fan, and turning off my computer would make the exercise impossible unless i created a twenty minute mp3 and listened to it on my mp3 player. the noise of the fan is not piercing, and i do not find it troubling when i go to sleep. my bed is only a couple of feet from my computer, and it would be impossible to get far enough from the computer that i could not hear the fan. the only reason i ask is that the high-rpm fan produces a high frequency noise which does contrast with the low-frequency sine wave of the preset. i realize this is a long post, but i have tried to describe my attempt in as much detail as i could, as far as what i experienced and how i went about attempting it. answers from those with a good deal of experience in this practice would be very much appreciated. |

in addition to what i said in the previous post, it may be worth mentioning that the time of this attempt was about 5:00pm. all of my lights were off, but my room was well-lit by the sun. in fact, a good amount of sunlight was shining directly on me, and it was visually obvious even with my eyes closed. i am not bothered by ambient lighting when i fall asleep, and i can sleep under very noisy circumstances in a very well lit room, if i am tired. the light did not bother me while i was listening to the preset, though i did briefly wonder if an attempt at projection would be more likely to succeed in low light or darkness as opposed to a fully lit room. the experiences of slipping 'in between' that i described previously almost all occurred in school classrooms completely illuminated by flourescent lighting. does ambient lighting have any real effect on astral projection, or is it just a question of personal tolerance? |

The first time I tried this I was able to relax quite a bit... I felt vibrations throughout my body and the notion that I was ascending but then stopped because I got excited and my conscious mind started wandering and thinking about it <-- I think that's why it didn't work The next few times I didn't even get close to my first... Today I was able to relax and I actually felt some vibrations and parts of my body falling asleep... but I had trouble relaxing... this was followed by spasms... I kept trying to relax... but then I ended up having a huge body twitch/spasm that caused me to move ^Anyone know why that happened and how to help? Recently I discovered problems with my breathing... I realized I had been breathing with my upper chest creating anxiety etc... I am not breathing with my diaphram and using only it/my stomache area without tensing the neck or upper chest and shoulders... If anyone has some information to assist me plz help :D Thx |

Wow! I tried this a bunch of times before I went to bed, and it never worked. Once I got vibrations before bed, then I freaked out. This morning I woke up early and tried it as I went back to bed and within a few minutes I felt my arms rise out of my body and for a few minutes I thought I was awake until I realized I was still asleep on the bed. The key is that you do it with interrupted sleep

omfg... I had my doubts, but wtf! I put the headphones on and layed down on the floor next to my computer, my cord wasn't so long... I listened to this sound for about 10-20 minutes, then took the headphones off so I could get more comfortable... I was having this eerie dream involving skiing, and this hotel...Then I woke up, only I couldn't move...I was terrified...I stuggled to move...I was looking at the wall, but I couldn't move, I managed to move my foot...just a little, but then...I OPENED MY DAMNED EYES...MY DAMNED EYES WERE SHUT!!!BUT I WAS LOOKING AT THE WALL!!! Talk about scared...I haven't had such an intense OBE since I was a teenager...I'd forgotten about this firghteningly disorienting aspect...Forgotten how terrifying it is to be completely conscious of 'reality' without the ability to effect it in anyway. I'd forgotten about the pressence you feel when detached from your body, like there are others in the room with you, watching you... Amazing but true, this is the real deal, man. Thanks. I want to give it another go, but I must admit that I'm a bit concerned...I kind of knew it would probably work on me, because it has happened naturally so many times, but I've never been able to do it on command. With this, I may very well be able to conjure up the experience with a certain degree of precision. Crazy as hell! |

The preset has some interesting sonic characteristics, but it didn't produce an out of body experience or astral projection. - I think when you name a preset something like this, it forces others to hold it to a higher standard than they would have for other astral projection presets. - I'm not sure it lives up to the "without fail" component of its name. Such expressions get thrown around too much nowadays, I think. |

Hm...i guess i believed astral projection is possible...but i wasnt capable of doing it and will never be. well last night after several nights i listened to this preset (the nights before it had relaxing effects, but after a while, it was causing my body wanting to move), i had a really strange experience. i fell asleep...noticed it and was awake again. then i noticed a feeling in my hands...they seemed to drift up, but at the same time i was sure they are laying extremely relaxed on my stomach. then i realized (or imagined) this was somewhat like an astral experience! i felt like i was "inside" my body and i could break out....well, then i got too curious i get and wanted to open my astral eyes. that didnt work. my real eyes opened and the sensation practically was gone. i felt like i "am" my body again. |

I'm a believer in astral projection, although I have yet to achieve it in about five months. I believe it's a non-religioyus action, although I myself am a christian, which is to say I am not so much non-denominational and I am multi-denominational. I'm not afraid to project, and I always wanted to try one of these, but am under 18 so have no way to purchase. I downloaded it, but I don't have the right program to play the file, what is it?

Okay- 2 things: one- I feel very stupid right now, 2- I hope this works. Sorry, when I wrote this I got this specific page from a yahoo engine and was being forced to sleep be my stepdad. All I knew was A- it wasn't playing and B- it was working for you all. I haven't been able to attain astral projection yet, but here's hopin'! |

Ok I gave this a shot... My heart started pounding like a mother... and I got a very uncomfortable tingly feeling all around. So I stopped it before the preset finished. What in the world was that about? Why is this preset so painful? Scary as hell...

I've never had a full OBE before but i have had partial ones but everytime there was something that stopped me. The first time i saw a person hiding in the cubbord so i stopped. The second time some red thing tried to pull me out 3 times and after the third pull i fell alseep. The third time something growled at me and i got a fright so i lost my concentration. Has anybody had any similar experiences? |

hello knight that numb feeling may be your astral body trying to get out.your almost their all you have to do is control the numb feeling like waves pushing it from your head to your toes then. when you could control them your ready for the next step, seperation.to seperate your body to your astral form you must imagine that your body is getting lighter and lighter and that your body is drifting away....an obe will acure naturaly after this..did this help you? please post a comment.. thanks |

Knight to not get i try to count ,slowly. and i say in my mind that the further i get the harder the vibrations get.i can tell that you have a hard time to trying to sleep, because most people just drift off to sleep, at night (when trying to astral project).........im the same way.

I had a OOBE once. It was wierd. It was in the middle of the day and I was extremely tired so I layed down on my bed to take a nap.I never went to sleep, I finally looked up and got off the bed and was about to leave my room untill I noticed my body still on the bed. I looked at my body, then at my hands and stomach and chest and stuff of the astral body, all looked the same. I thought I was having a lucid dream and I remembered reading something about spinning real fast and then thinking about something as you spin, and when you get done you would be wherever you thought of. Well, I tried that and when I got done my clothes on my astral body was all tore up but I didnt go nowhere. thats when I snapped back into my body. lol, sounds kinda funny, but its true. |

Ok...some questons. Do you get the full effect from this preset just by hooking up headphones to your computer? Or do you have to listen to it without headphones? Also, I have gotten these vibrations...but in the process my body gets really tight and tense feeling...like I'm going to explode. Is this normal? Also, is this the best preset to get you to a good point to AP? I heard their is a second version of this. Is it better?
