Studying Aid10 Hz: Enhanced release of serotonin (for increased alertness) 6 Hz: long term memory stimulation, reduce unwillingness to work
I found that my ability to concentrate and think clearly increased significantly when listening to this preset. Do realize that your desire and willingness to put effort into studying is most important; this preset only strengthens those desires if they're there in the first place. Any tips, can you just listen to it while your doing other things, or should you sit down and concentrate on it?

I used this WHEN I learning. Because while used this, our brain's frequency will be bring into 6 Hz (which is effected to memory and can reduce unwillingness to work).

Serotonin has nothing to do with alertness, dopamin and adrenalin is what you want.

works like a charm, not only did I have an easier time reading an almost impossible to read text (Damn english class!), I actually enjoyed doing so. I was able to visualize the story and setting more vividly that I usually do, and I was really productive. This is one of the few presets that seem to actually have any effect on me.

danny_p, 16-Feb-2004 is there any preset that increases adrenalin? yes theyre in the same category, i'd presume that they are just alertness boosters or reaction time improvers. |

Are there any presets which would help me play and learn guitar better?
|

|
yes,....... buy a guitar and play it...

Parabola I believe is referring to something else. Of course you have to buy a guitar and play it but it would be very helpful if there was a preset that could help you to remember sounds, finger locations, etc. Some of these studying presets may help.

Try adding some L-Tryptophan to your diet.. .5 to 1.5 grams 3x's a day. It is the precursor to dopamine. Take on an empty stomach. People who have a difficulty in concentration have pre cortex problems.. go to brainplace.com for a good deal of information on duh brain. |

Actually, L-Tryptophan is a precursor to serotonin: L-Trytophan (enzyme) 5-Hydroxytryptophan (enzyme) Serotonin. L-Tyrosine is a precursor to amine neurotransmitters like Dopamine and Norepinephrine

I'm becoming terribly hungry listening to this preset.

I just ate dinner, and I'm getting hungry again. Similar to the "munchies", with the bottomless pit of a stomach feeling, only food doesn't taste as good as if i were high.

adjusted serotonin levels will give you a bottom less stomach feeling, and do other stuff to your apetite. 5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP, as mentioned above) is available from health shops and is used for dieting because of this effect (aswell as treating depression, anxiety and panic disorders)

This preset works pretty well. Definitly feel an increase in attention to detail. I added the 6.3 freq as suggested by iLL, took out the flowing river background sound, and added pink noise at 100% volume with no modulation. Now it rocks!
