BUILTIN: Headache treatment 2 (steady 10/5, circular)

Helps alleviating headaches with steady low theta (5Hz) and mid-beta (10Hz) tones. For additional complexity, circular modulation is applied to the mid-beta tone.

I dont understand the phase settings of BWgen. What is "circular modulation" and is there a methodology for adjusting the ms of the amplitude modulation depending on the frequency range of your binarual beat? 500ms is about 2cps if I remember correctly. How could I create panning waves with bw gen? Is it even possible? I was thinking i'd have to use a amplitude modulation of .5cps or lower and adjust the phase shift and or adjust the left and right channels seperatly to get panning waves. I would like bwgen to have circular waves were the sound goes in a circle. I've listened to tapes that have sounds that swirl all around inside the head. I have a third party program that can do panning of a sound from left to right, but it does not smooth the waves. It only moves the sound from left to right which gives you a swish effect, but no circular pattern. I'm thinking that i'd have to combine bwgen and output to disk and then modify the .wav to get my desired effect.

Circular modulation is accomplished by setting the Sound Modulation Phase parameter to 180 degrees. You can get varietes of circular modulation by setting the phase to anything from 90..180 or -90..-180. (Note that 180 degrees and -180 degrees are actually equal!) To adjust the ms of amplitude modulation, use the Sound Modulation Period parameter. You can make it track the Binaural Beat Frequency parameter.

Well.. I thought I'd try this out as I read an article in Omni Magazine a long time ago about this type of thing. I had a KILLER headache yesterday that I'd had all day so I thought I'd give this a try.. within 5 minutes my reduced and within 10 minutes it was gone. I don't fully understand it.. but it worked for me anyway! :)

it worx like no one other preset i tried with bwgen. but i think that 60% does bwgen 40% autosuggestion :)

This preset is excellent. Got rid of my headache in under 10 minutes. Forget Motrin. I highly recommend this preset.

WTF? it seriously like made my left arm really painful to lift. I tried to hit it and the pain escaladed!!! On the plus side, i don't have a headache any more :)
