Too Much Coffee [improved]

This is an improvement over the original. I've been tinkering with it at work for months. I had found the original could be a bit too loud after the ten minute mark as the volume raised, so I tried to temper that a little bit. I also switched the background sound - this 1.8 HZ flangered noise is very potent [well, for me, at least].

This was something I was tinkering with for headache/sinus relief, as well as poor circulation to the eyes - although, I find it has a hell of an energy kick to it - kind of like drinking a few coffees. I use it at my job to help stay alert while working. Like "gamma radiation", it has a audible pitch that gradually ramps up, but it's not quite so intense, and a little bit easier on the ears.

I was amazed. I was feeling very sleepy this afternoon and needed a little pick me up. Since I no longer drink caffeine I though why not try this preset and after 2 minutes I feel very refreshed.

This helps to keep me awake but it doesn't put me into a normal wake mode, like where i am not sleepy and up and ready to go. BUt it is good. Bye

i was skeptical or whatever, but honestly this works soooo well i'm impressed.

i do feel like i drank some coffee, exept that i don't have the nice warm feeling in my stomach, and the aftertaste istn't in my mouth so i guess it's not as good. too bad

This preset is *excellent*, I've had less than 3 hours sleep last night, I was about to go for a strong cup of coffee but put this preset on instead, it takes a good 10 minutes to get to the point where it actually kicks you up, but I don't feel tired at all!!! Just wish the preset kept going.... or looped or something.

i where wery tierd and I tryed listening to this preset and after 5 - 8 minutes and I fell fast asleep for an whole Hour ... is there something wrong with me ? or is my settings wrong ?

i can say it works on me. for exampe when i play games it is powerfull but i think if that preset has no name it would not work..

On falling asleep, yes - I've actually had that happen. I find sometimes if I listen to the preset after a really grueling day at work, the pleasant noise background can overtake the affect of the rising tone. On the other hand, I've also gotten into some very relaxed states when drinking coffee. I find this preset gives me the most pleasant kick when I'm typing at work.

This is actually the first Braniwave Generator preset I've ever used, but nevertheless in my oppinion is just great. After 15 minutes of listening to this I became quite different man, it loaded me with huge dose of positive energy and all my latest blue moods were gone. Marvellous!!!

I'm not very tired this evening. Just feeling my normal late nigh fatigue. I put on this preset and within five minutes, It felt like more blood was circulating through my brain. Sort of like when you're sitting in a chair for a long period of time, then take in one deep breath of air. This preset gives me that feeling; it refreshes my mental ability.

For me, not enough energy and not enough hours in the day are probably the 2 biggest problems in my life. I just found out about this site yesterday and have been experimenting with it since. I've been seeing people refer to this preset in discussion of others so I was pretty hyped to try it out.

This morning...
-Slept from 4am to 9am
-woke with some discomfort in my head (probably in the middle of a sleep cycle?)which has resulted in a fluctating headache over the 2 hours that I've been awake.
-I put this on...
IN THE FIRST 2 MINUTES, I was like "Oh crap" I could feel it as I could feel my nasal passages expanded, BUT it is now nearly and hour later and still feel that I need to take a mid-morning nap... damnit :(

I used the built-in, "Attention focussing (anti-drowsiness)" to some success 2 times yesterday, though I haven't messed with it this morning. I guess I'm just not sure about the strength of BWG because what I'm feeling right now is definately due to long term sleep deprivation, not just this one night, so maybe there's no hope for me unless I do in fact change my sleep habits. I was really extatic when I read about being able to feel fresh and recharged after only 6 hours of sleep thanks to a lot of these presets, but so far, to my great dismay, this does not appear to be the case.

I am still faithful though. If it works for so many other people, I'm pretty sure there is nothing so horribly wrong w/ me that it won't work for me as well.

Oh god! this thing has allowed me to work for 96 hours straight!!! although my GF has threatend to leave me several times in the course of this peroid... I suppose I should take the headphones out now as I'm sweating pretty bad... but I feel like I'm on the drugs they pumped us up on when I was serving in the New Saba Army. When I started to listen to this I was all like - I'm going to bed... but since then I have beaten FFIX and made good progress in FFVIII... this is highly recommended to you all you 1337 gamer types that are suffering from diabetes from all the D3\/\/ you've consumed... Ok. I've downloaded the tmc2.bwg file and opened it with the BWG. But it says "Unable to open the background file '1-8F-LOW.WAV'". Then I downloaded the background file but I cant open it with the BWG, what am I supposed to do?

Iceland:
Go into the preset options. In the background dropdown list click on "1-8F-LOW.WAV" even if it is already selected. Bwgen will ask you to locate the file manually and it should work.

I checked my notes - I think the reason I gradually have everything begin to fade from 20 minutes to 40 minutes was due to my personal experience. I found if you left it 'high' all the way through with no end, it begins to get grating after a while.

Although, the notion of a cycle isn't a bad idea at all.
