I just tried "lost time" and it works great! It seemed like I was sleeping just sitting there. Time seemed to go VERY quickly. I'm anxious to try it for insomnia. |

not to knock my own work, but this was a failed attempt at treating my own insomnia. i only posted it b/c it had other interesting effects. however, if all goes well, i should have an effective sleep preset within a week.

You ought to tell us what the interesting effects were. =P

chiefly, i didn't remember listening to most of it, but had no sense of discontinuity. also, it caused me to stay awake for a couple of hours after listening, feeling wide awake. it turns out that there are a couple of bands of "no time" throughout theta, but i have no good explanation for that last part.

But .. its all perception based, if you believe time is slower than time is actually slower, if you believe you've "lost" time then you truly have lost it, who will argue? I mean, it is YOUR perception of time, but oh well, I'll give this a try and get back to you all on the results.

I'm typing while i listen so heres what it's like: 21:00, Started preset 21:27, mmm, I think time does seem to be passing quickly but i cant really tell. 21:30 Finished listening to preset. 21:35, on second thought the last five minutes do seem to have pasted extremely slowly compared to the twenty seven that passed while listening to the preset. does anyopne know what the exact frequency for 'lost time' is? |
