Disentrainment

Suffering comes from getting stuck (entrainment to the grand illusion). Not letting the brain rest on a particular frequency fosters freedom! Based on the work of Len Ochs http://www.mind-gear.com/ochsmbr.htm , this preset keeps you moving. Sound 1 binaural beat is reinforced by monaural beat rendered by ound 2.

I want to know who says freeing up calcium ions in the brain is bad. Maybe it helps encourage transfer of info across neurons. Has there been any research in the area??

everyone throws around the term "calcium ion migration (brain tissue)" around
do any of you actually know what it means? ive doen the research and its normal harmless brain activity.

Ladies and Gents,
Ca++ ions are active in electrical impulse conduction in the nervous system. To make a blanket statement about their "badnness" or goodness is no more sensible, or useful, than saying that a phone line's electrical activity carries good or bad news. Content counts. Not the medium. Non-selective nervous system activity is no better than having all cylinders of a motor engine fire at once. Selectivity, sequence and localization of stimulation are probably more important than simply being "excitatory" or "inhibitory." Give the brain credit for its complexity. Ca++ ions are generally benign conductors, but may perpetuate cell destruction in certain states, like stroke. I don't know, but this may account for different conclusions I am reading here. Brain wave entrainment per se, is probably the selective process of stimulation, or suppression, of certain parts of the brain. Ion migration (of which Ca++ is one) is simply the means by which the brain's electrical activity is accomplished. Nuff Said

Nobody has balanced the diuscussion on Ca2+ ions with the effect of having introduced F- ions into the body from fluoride toothpaste.
The F- ions will combine with Ca2+ to form the compound CaF2, which is a very stable compound, ie. it cannot function in conducting electrical impulses. If one should combine 16 Hz with brushing one's teeth, then I'm afraid that brainlessness will result.
